Thanks a lot DeeDee, yes now I have something to tell my fiance about our case the next time I get to talk to her. Yes once I get the letter I can deal with it.

It cleared NVC already??? Jeez that's amazing! :dance:

See, Matt called NVC today and talked to an operator and she said it's coming to Brazil, but the automated message doesn't show anything.. I don't really know for sure because he's at work, we just texted each other and when he gets home I'll give more details and update the timeline... now I'm trying to figure out how to send an email to the consulate using the OUTLOOK... its ###### impossible! :huh: When I try to send it using hotmail, won't deliver it! :help: ???

Hey max, I read this post yesterday, thankyou... Well, he did talk to a person when he called NVC today, and she told him that our case was forwarded to Rio already, but Matt also said we still have no case #, I told him to call DOS, and ask them what's really going on, I'll know if he did, or not when he gets home -which it should be soon.

But, if the operator at NVC told him that, I guess it's right? The automated system, from what I've seen, fails sometimes.. I'll post the details later! :blush:

Thanks Jacque and Gerry. Its sort of like you know you're almost there. Its the moment of truth! I guess I sort of knew there was a possibility cause my case is a bit more complicated than most. I guess it depends what this RFE's all about but hopefully what they want isn't unreasonable.

Okay, to the last of us left here without NOA2, I'm going nuts knowing that it's any day now, aren't you? I'm actually wondering how late in the day they could be working, because there aren't many approvals yet today. I'm wondering if they just haven't sent them out yet, or if people just haven't gotten home yet to read their mail, email, etc, or to come online to update.

I'm on here way too much now, I can't wait for NOA2, just so that I can breathe for a few days!! (then go crazy waiting for NVC, but at least we'll only be looking once a day for it!

Thea, seems most of the approvals lately have been in the afternoon, around 1:30 or 2pm EST, so I figure if I haven't heard anything by then, I'm not going to for that day. Easier to deal with IMO. ;)

HELLO my fellow March filers, i just want to let you know that i called US Embassy Manila to clarify my Police Clearance from Dubai and they said i don't need one coz she said according to Reciprocity,

Available, only if applicant is physically present in the UAE.

Not available by mail. Post recommends that consular officers waive the general requirement to obtain police certificates unless the applicant lives in the UAE.
