w two march filers got approve today..03/10..wow congrat to them..

Yeah I think thats pretty amazing, in the past it averaged 6 - 7 months and here its not even 4 months and people are getting approved!

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

:P Well actually its no secret, they show you on dashboard.uscis.gov, we were lucky enough to have filed during the up trend. CSC and VSC alternate. I think the peak for VSC is in July and then the trend will be to slow down and CSC to take the lead in September or so.

Of course people won't be satisfied until they get their NOA2, but I think we'll see a lot more in July and back down to this months level in August. People will argue out of frustration but we're going exactly the way the trend predicted.

So don't forget to cross you fingers, cross your toes, and cross your hair (braid it) as it has been proven that it increases the likeliness of NOA2! :rofl:

Why is it that I get excited when I look at Igor's list and see that there's only 20 odd names left for the March filers (remember, I'm a May filer according to my NOA2, so don't regularly check it yet) Then I don't know any of the names and realize that there are WAY more March filers in the VSC list, like 88 or so. Is it something about the demographics of petitioners in the US that makes them come online and make a timeline? Is it something about the petitioners area that makes them more likely to find love outside of the US? It's weird when you look at the lists on USCIS too, there are way more filers from the VSC area, I really don't know what it is... Anyhoo, I don't know any of the CSC March filers names that are still waiting for NOA2, so if there are still any of you waiting on here please update your lists, I'm hoping March is pretty much done except for a few stragglers. Come on April then May! (I really hate that they made me a May filer, we sent in MARCH!!)

For the VSC group, all I can say is there are so many of you still on the list that totally rock, that if there is something about the area, the demographics that makes you all similar, then maybe the people on the VSC have a little of that Moxy too, and will get their groove on and go to it! hair braided, fingers crossed, gonna wear a pillowcase for a nightie tonight!
