I went to the RCMP headquarters in Vancouver and it took about 20 minutes (no criminal record). It cost $25. In hindsight, I probably should have waited to get it as it expires in 6 months and who knows if I will be at the interview stage in 6 months (hopefully, though, fingers crossed!). At least it was fast if I need to get another one because the first one expired. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks, that helps alot! :star:

wow things started to move pretty fast in here it seems. guess we're all getting closer now huh? im worried about my police certificate. ive been a runaway for 3 months when i was 14, and got a fee for drinking beer in public (a park) when i was 18. also i punched a classmate at 19 and she lost a tooth but she took her acuse at the police back so they stopped messing with me...wonder if they'll deny me for that -_- i was young and restless lol

Teenagers usually don't make it on police reports unless its a very serious offence. When you get your police report you will know what is on it. I'd really be surprised if there's anything.

Everywhere you're considered an adult at 18 but still a crazy teenager  , but punching somebody once is a minor assault. Police would generally give people a break on that, especially to teenagers cause it happens all the time.

I'm sure you aren't. I just can imagine you punching that girl, and her toothless after that, it's just so hilarious

But I think you don't have to worry DeeDee, if she withdrawn the complaint then there shouldn't be no record of it, since police didn't proceed with any investigation or whatever they do :)

I'm so happy now! My hubby-to-be will probably be making us (me and our child) a visit in july!! :luv: He just changed his work, and he's taking some days off until starts with this new job!! :luv: :luv: :luv:
