Looky at this USCIS trend graph the VSC NOA2 approvals in april were twice as much as those in March, and as there's no reason it won't follow the past trend, the rate of approvals will stay very high till end of July, hopefully!

omg lol u imagine how slow they are? there are like 13.000 people waitting at vermont, and they only complete few thousand a month, and more come from behind. they definately need more staff to help out with the petitions. it seems in 2009 it was way faster than 2010, maybe the summer was not so hot and they didnt need as many coffee breaks >_______<

Unfortunately they know there's not enough staff but they will not do anything about it. Unless we all demand to pay higher fees! :o

Come on all, it is what it is. We're beyond half way there! For the lucky among us you have a month or a little more. You should focus on getting things together like police reports, certificates and all for the interview stage.

Hey - one question

My birth certificate is in my mother tougue and it all tore - in 3 pieces to be exact. While filling the application I had attached the transalation of the birth certificate and had also attached my school certificate which has my date of birth and my father's name but it doesnt have my mother's name. Do you think it will be issue at the time of interview?

Cheers

My fiance hasn't ordered his police report yet. we didn't want to order it until after we got NOA2. Anyone know how long it takes to get a Canadian police report? He's lived in two different towns, but I believe he can order one RCMP report for Canada. Anyone...anyone....? Bueller? Bueller? :hehe:

I went to the RCMP headquarters in Vancouver and it took about 20 minutes (no criminal record). It cost $25. In hindsight, I probably should have waited to get it as it expires in 6 months and who knows if I will be at the interview stage in 6 months (hopefully, though, fingers crossed!). At least it was fast if I need to get another one because the first one expired. Hope this helps. :)

Are you the beneficiary or the petitioner. If you're the petitioner you just had to prove you are a US Citizen. A copy of your Naturalization certificate would work.

If you are the beneficiary is there any possibility of getting one from the Indian government. If not I suggest looking at the Embassy Reviews on the link and the top of the page and select your embassy, possibly somebody had this as an issue, or you might want to make your own post of this question and mention Indian birth certificate so people who know something about it can respond to you.

Good luck!

"Wait For Me" - Theory of a Deadman

You are not alone tonight

Imagine me there by your side

It's so hard to be here so far away from you

I'm counting the days till

I'm finally done

I'm counting them down, yeah, one by one

It feels like forever till I return to you

But it helps me on those lonely nights

It's that one thing that keeps me alive

[Chorus:]

Knowing that you wait for me

Ever so patiently

No one else knows the feeling inside

We hang up the phone without saying goodnight

Because it's the sound of your voice that brings me home

It's never been easy to say

But it's easier when I've gone away

[Chorus:]

Knowing that you wait for me

Ever so patiently

Yeah, you're everything I've ever dreamed of having and

It's everything I need from you just knowing that you wait for me

[bridge:]

What I'd give

What I'd do

Knowing I'm not there for you

Makes it so hard to leave

What I'd give

What I'd do

Anything to get me home to you

And this time I'll stay

And you wait for me

Ever so patiently

Yeah, you're everything I've ever dreamed of having and

It's everything I need from you just knowing that you wait for me
