I have been doing the same, painting, drawing... it's a long wait, so somehow I need to keep my mind busy...I did this today... Braiding my hair is also a hobby :P

Your painting looks really nice! Wish that I could do something to look even similar to yours :crying: I just started driving lessons, that's how I'm making time go away somehow faster. But always thinking positive, to send some good vibes over VSC

Have a great morning/evening/night for you all (June 15, 7:38 pm over here in Lima)

Best wishes to you all, sending really good vibes for all of us either to VSC or CSC

That's really pretty DeeDee!

I just looked at that link that Amy put up on the Facebook site, and I didn't see Stuart and I in with the March filers at all, we're in the MAY group. This sucks :( We originally sent in January, then in March, and now it's putting us as May because it took them so long for our NOA2. If it's all the same to you guys, I still want to hang out in here even though technically, I'm now a May filer. What's up with that? I guess that puts us two months longer than we thought for NOA2 as well???

Hi March Filers,

I filed I129F on March 16. Our petition was approved May 31 (CSC) . So now we wait for the NVC # and for the pkg to be forwarded to the Guangzhou consulate. What a relief that it has been approved. We are thinking that an Oct 10 interview date would be perfect since I (petitioner) was unemployed 2009, 2010 and until April 5, 2011. Even though my income is over 30K for 2009 and 2010 I think it is best to wait until I have been re-employed for six months before the interview. Thoughts/comments?

I think one reason we were approved fast is because we have a K-2 age out issue and I wrote "Potential K-2 age out" on the petiion in a couple prominent places.

Best of luck to all of you  it'll happen...

Congratulations!... things are obviously coming together for you as they should and all the best from hereon in.

Just a question... with your age-out situation... how did you present this as we didnt mention it specifically though it is pretty clear from the initial petition that it is also significant in our case?

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

Yeah you filed in March but unfortunately they screwed up your case but hope they realize that and get it done for you sooner.

DeeDee yes nice and creative and keeps your mind occupied while we wait.

So far this week VSC got 16 approvals and CSC 9 and last week it was 45 vs. 24. According to the Igor list stats, most weeks VSC is approving more than CSC the last couple months. http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/stats.aspx

Also on Igors timeline list I remember the first time I checked we were in the high 600s, as far as the VSC VJ waiting line and now the list only goes down to 471 so they reduced the backlog.

I'm in the high 260s now so we all have come a long way!

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!

This is a very lovely painting Carolina and yes - actually a good way to occupy your mind and flash all the stress away by doing something you love. How I wish I have the same skills as you when it comes to painting but I dont. One thing I want to learn now is how to cook LOL :o

I wonder why VJ doesnt have a delete button where you can delete post LOL sorry for the messy codes above, I was trying to figure out how to post my song, it didnt work good on the first try. Sorry B-)
