Hey guys/gals. I am waiting for Carolina to return home from picking up her mother. I felt the desire to post here. I wanted to share something with you guys, possibly help to keep everyone fresh on realizing, while in this waiting, just how important their significant other is to them. I just wanted to share how I view Carolina. For me, I was designed. And part of my design was left for meeting her. I was supposed to have her in my life, and to give her everything she always dreamed of. I live for her. I go to bed at night... my head hits the pillow and I think so much about her. When I wake up in the mornings, she's the first thought... and it continues throughout today. So what is a few months of waiting? Not much at all really. Stay positive everyone, I believe, as much as others here, that we are very close to our time :)

Matt

Awwww thank you Looky. Im no psychic but I am a frustrated singer

I was able to talk to an agent from NVC every time I call, they sounded just the same as the recording, like an automated system keep telling me the same thing

Well that guitar and singing was definitely good!

Yeah I became paranoid of the whole USCIS to NVC transfer process when USCIS put my package in an 'offsite storage facility' last time, when they were supposed to send it to NVC. But just in case it doesn't get there in a while the thing to do is get your congressman or senator involved.

Its only been about a week or so right?

No confirmation from NVC either. Every time I call I get the same answer "It'll 15 business days for it to be in our system" whats up with that? Others have theirs 5-7 days. Guess NVC works the same way as CSC and VSC - in random order LOL

Someone will open up the box and take a glance on your case any time this month.

Well we were all crossing our fingers and toes for wishing to get approved quickly. Then the only other thing that we seemed to agree on was crossing our hair, and thats where the braiding comes in! So you don't really need long hair you just need to twist them together to bring you good luck and NOA2! B-) Yeah its been almost 10 months since I've seen my woman and plan to go when she has her interview. So hopefully thats just a few short months from now.

Well really, the real reason time goes fast for me is that I got a new job after I visited her and most of my days are spent with my mind in that so I never hardly have too much time to think about the visa. Also when I talk to her we're just laughing about other stuff and never dwell on how long its going to take.

Oh ok.. hahaha.. well I can feel some serious braiding coming on around here soon then. I left my job last year to go to the U.S. to see my man and came back to NZ to sort out some things... then began the K1 process. I don't have a job now so not enough ties to prove I would come back, though I am totally 'no risk'. So the days are pretty long while waiting with fingers, toes crossed and now 'braiding' lol.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Yes about travelling it seems nobody really knows and it may depend on the border guards at the moment you enter. But I thought I read somewhere that if you present your NOA1 it might actually be a reason for you to go back since you have to go back to do your interview. But then I don't know and just saying it should be that way. But then reality is rarely what it should be! :o

But it does seem like VSC are approving some late February filers so if you can hold on for 2 months or so. I just took a quick look at the NZ embassy reviews and they all seem to rate it pretty high so I guess that means they don't take too long.

Well it seems Carolina is bringing Brazilian Valentines day to VJ so more reasons to celebrate, as long as braiding is a part of it!

I just went to a friend's house for a barbecue, and had a wonderful time, and sometimes it's a little bittersweet, thinking that it might be the last few months that I get to see her for a long long time, could be forever even. I know people drift apart, it happens. I love facebook, and internet, we can always skype, but however hard it is to be away from our honeys right now, it's going to be the same for us with our friends and family when we go, some of them, we may never see again. Kinda sad...

I've sent a few emails to family in the past, after losing loved ones, to tell them what I think of them, how much I love them, cause we sometimes don't tell people and then regret it when it's too late. I might not even see some of these people until a funeral brings me back home, so I'm planning on making the most of my time left, and spend what time I can with the people I care the most about.

Tonight I had a wonderful dinner with a friend and her family. I played guitar hero with her daughter, and played nursemaid to her other (sore throat) daughter, and gave a million hugs and kisses to my friend and her husband. I have a few more people that I need to do the same with, cause it's gonna be lonesome for a while when I move. Not like when we were kids and the nearest person your age became your bff...

Matt, I think you're adorable, my Stuart is as big a mush head as you are and I love every minute of it. I hope you keep that romantic soul, and act as goofy as you can when you are together. Kish, I hope you can use your psychic powers to give me some good news. I keep seeing my timeline get later and later and later from where I thought it would be. I'd like some good news, as we originally thought it would take us only till May to be together, but our application was originally delayed and then lost, so here we are, and it looks like we might not even be together till October or later! Please tell me I'm way off!!

I posted that song on facebook, I really liked it, and thought it would be a good place to share it for all the 2011 filers..

Man, really wish I could hear about some more NOA2 approvals, the more of you get approved, the less there are on the list ahead of me!

Anyway, about the I-134.. What if for instance my interview will be anytime this August but the I-134 was signed and dated July, will that be okay? I guess they will just look for the income not the date when it was signed, right?
