March 2011 Filers..

Hello fellow March VJ Filers. I noticed my timeline on here has moved out of September, 2011 completely. Is this a good thing, I hope so. I am hoping that VSC continue to progress on the dates they are working on and catch up with CSC. I am wishfully thinking my NOA-2 will arrive sooner than later. I know there are ALOT more people that has applied for K-1 visas than what we see on VJ. Maybe, just maybe they approve a Jamaican March filer soon.

:crying:

VJ timeline is just an estimate. It doesn't come from USCIS nor VSC, thus, no one can really determine as to when not even the VJ timeline. Hang in there! Who knows you'll get it earlier than what you expected. As what I always advice to others, just enjoy and spend more time with your family.. You'll gonna miss them when you move. Good luck! :)

Seeing these March people get approved is making me sweat here! I feel like it's still important to firmly believe that it will take at least 5 months to get approved, because that's the average and I don't want to get my hopes up, but on the other hand I want to hope that it will happen sooner since things seem to have sped up.

That's exactly how I feel too... I was hoping for august, july would be great and june like heaven (because then my fiance is here and we could party together (L)) ...I succesfully stopped checking my case status and Igor's list every second day, but now...I have to admit I check every day again

Ok, i want see how many of you all are addicted to USCIS website and ogar list(VJ).... ..How many of you all be hecking uscis website atleast once a week....as for me, i try not to check it as often, i want to be suprise..lol...Now i try to pay my phone bill on time so my service wont be interupted,i don't want to miss that special text from uscis..lol

I am proud to say I have checked my status on the USCIS website every weekday since the first day I set up my account! But no I never expect to see anything but Initial Review. But for me its mostly about hoping I don't get an RFE cause I had to file a waiver request for re-applying for her. So its a good luck charm for me that my last updated date has not changed yet.

Another day coming to an end!

What are everyone's summer plans? Unless you get to spend it with your significant other...what are you doing to keep busy?

I'm working part-time as a desk clerk at my library. I'll be spending the rest of my time hanging out with my friends or relaxing at home (gotta make the most of this summer since next year I'll be in the US!). My city has some good festivals, so I'm looking forward to those. My boyfriend is coming to visit at the end of July for about a week, but I have to try to distract myself so it comes faster! :clock:

I have been working for almost 2 years now but I am planning to quit. The company I am working now is mismanaged and now on a crises and they haven't paid us for 4-5 payrolls. Although, on the other side, If I quit then I'll be stuck at home. I'll go crazy especially now undergoing such process like this. So to help me keep me sane, I'd just rather go to work not knowing when we will be paid. LOL :D :D :D

Don't do it, don't set yourself up for dissapointment. Every case is different and they also have different people working on them. They also don't have enough people. Just cause some people filing during one month get approved in a certain month does not mean all people that filed in that month will get approved, close to that month.

When you go to the US, its likely that you won't go back home and stay there for too long. So I think you should enjoy home the way it is now cause it may never be the same for you again.
