Hello friends. I just wanted to add my progress in case it could of help to someone in a similar situation. I am currently living in Turkey. I sent my petition to the lockbox in Texas via turkish postal mail (no courier). It went out on February 12, 2011. I just got my email notification of receipt yesterday--March 10, 2011. Also, my petition was re routed to California for processing.

While I'm happy to finally get a response from USCIS--the timeline worries me since it took just about one month to get a receipt of notice.

Anyway, good luck to all us here. Now it's time to sit back and wait (until God knows how long).
