After the plane tickets, the many visits to the UK, the honeymoon in Vegas, hey I will have memories. We can all remember something awesome about 1998 but may not remember how much money we had in the bank. That shows what is truly important. I am just glad I can afford to make the memories.

I got the email saying that the visa is en route! I'm really hoping it will be available tomorrow for pickup! I'm just going to keep my eye on it today, and Stuart is booking a flight tomorrow to come get me! He'll wait for me as long as it takes if the visa is slow in coming, but at least we'll be together!

@All: Now for some good news. Inday entered U.S. on morning of November 24, Thanksgiving Day!!! Now, how great is that!! Wahoo!!!! After all this time, I can hardly believe she is here. It is absolutely the most indescribably wonderful feeling!! --RK

My internet was finally taken down on Tuesday, but I went to my mom's and found that my visa was there, so picked it up. Stuart arrived Wednesday night and spent Thanksgiving with my family. We had a wonderful time, packed up the truck on Thursday, spent a lazy day Friday at Mom and Dad's, then entered the US on Saturday! I'm now in Branson with Stuart, and ready to plan the rest of the wedding, and unpack the truck and start our lives together!

This is what we're all in it for guys, it feels great! I hope everyone after me gets here soon too, and we can all join in the AOS! Yes please, link in here when we move on, and we can all follow through on there.

Inday successfully entered U.S.A. on morning of Thanksgiving Day!!!!!! Will be dropping by/monitoring this thread for awhile, of course, but will likely start focusing on AOS thread which Thea includes a link for in her last post above. Well Loreta and my story continues to be an adventure. A major problem happened on her way from Latvia to Cyprus. At the time all I got was a text message from her saying that she was in Frankfurt ( the connecting airport ), she got sick, couldn't find her flight but she will try to (msg cut off) that was Nov 18th. So all I could do was go to Cyprus on the 26th and hope she will be there or show up by that time or at least before the Dec 2nd interview date. But no dice and her parents think she was in Cyprus meanwhile her friends say she is in Latvia.

I changed my flight to leave on the 3rd. Just outside the airport I got a call from somebody saying Loreta was in the hospital. To make a long story short, through a friend I just made over there, who was fluent in Russian, I have found out that she had to have some sort of gynelogical operation in Frankfurt. Also nobody paid for the operation so she is stuck there until its paid for.

Loreta was quite sick and even felt like or tried killing herself. I'm doing what I have to, to get the money to her and also been updating the embassy in hopes that they will reschedule it, when I have some clue.

So can't say anything for sure and haven't had any direct contact with her since the 18th. The only contact is indirectly through some sort of relative of Loreta and this friend I made in Cyprus just this past week.

Thanks Dante and Geor and RK_and_Inday,

She is in Frankfurt, so her phone does not work from there. Hopefully soon she will not be so weak that maybe she will be able to get around to contacting me somehow. Its hard to know what really happened to her to get her in this situation. This relative of hers has not yet given me the address and phone of this clinic and it seems to me the relative is trying to help Loreta but at the same time wanting some money out of it, which is making dealing with this a little frustrating.
