Sebastian is as since yesterday officially an american guy!!! :dance:

They will send his blue passport on Nov 8th so, that same day I can send a copy to USEM with my passport to get my visa!!!!! :dance: :dance:

Unfortunately Dante has to go back to work on Monday, so he's flying on Sunday But we'll be there soon (I hope) They said I'll have my visa one week after I send them the CRBA copy, so I'm assuming I'll have my passport back by mid November, and they we'll book a flight!!

Dante is happy even we can't go back with him, 'cause the Army is going to pay him back 4 years of his disability for Sebastian's birth. He says the Army is going to buy our tickets! Lol

I'm just popping in really quick to let you know I'm on my way to Montreal. My medical is tomorrow, then the interview next Thursday, wish me luck!

@MatthewNCaroline--Thank you and you are welcome!! Inday and I think earliest possible for her to be in U.S. is about latter November but no definite month or date known yet. Although approved, visa is yet to be printed and delivered. Visa delivery date and time to arrange personal affairs will affect date. However, you can be assured I will keep you and all here posted and can be assured Inday and my personal target date for her to be in U.S. is: "ASAP!!!!" --RK

So tomorrow is the day to fly... I'm nervous, happy, excited, broken inside.. but I know everything will be alright. I want to thankyou guys here, for alllll the support and postive words through this tough process and I wish the best of luck to everyone.

Finding this community made, not only the process easier but also the wait. If it wasn't for Visa Journey, and meeting so many others going through the same struggle as us, things would be for sure way harder, especially for me - Carolina.

You all stay safe and keep your heads up. Can't promise we will be much on here but I'll try to update you all and help whenever I can.

POE was a breeze, everything is being so great here. I couldn`t be any happier than this, I feel so relieved. Time to cuddle and watch a movie with my future husband. Hope you guys are okay... keep us updated!

@Carolina--A very sincere, hearty, and exuberant "Welcome to the U.S.A!!!!" But most of all, welcome to the next wonderful steps in your life's journey. Feels nice just to relaxingly be with the one you love, hunh? We certainly understand the part about not being sure how much you will be on the VJ site, however, I know I speak for many when I say any important updates will be gladly received. (Later, if you happen to make your way to the AOS-specific forums posts, I am sure you also might run into Inday and myself there once in a while!) So, MatthewNCarolina, "keep the home fires burning" and keep the cuddling continuing. May both your lives be blessed with many, many happy memories together.

You are very welcome. Yes, Inday just a few days ago did apparently received visa package. However, over the telephone, she explained to me that there is sheet with very explicit written warnings that package is not to be opened at all and the writing indicates doing so can bar her from U.S. entry. However, the very same written information seems to also indicate that she can open package and remove her passport. This Catch-22 written information (don't open/may open) is stressing her out a bit and she does not want to do anything incorrectly so she hasnn't retrieved her passport yet, has put all away (everything still sealed) in a safe place while she focuses on attending to finalizing affairs in preparation for the move which she and I anticipate occurring within a month's time or so. Will certainly keep you all updated.

Yup, I see the AOS and more paperwork looming on the horizon. The journey continues!! Glad to hear you are finding time to this but mostly glad to hear that everything is good!!
