I have to say that I am so glad this is coming to a close, the waits, all the long waits between the NOAs and the interviews and gathering paperwork, I will about feel like I have retired from a job after this! Exasperating! I feel like I am watching a movie, the kind with a tense exciting part where you want to stand on the chair and scream and the screen, yep I feel like that, I am cheering on the airlines, the postman, the movement of the sun across the sky to close one more day that my fiance and I must be apart, rooting on the next day, encouraging everything ro progress rapidly, as much as possible, to the every second that we are united once again and this time forever. Only then can I truly sleep in peaceful bliss. :dance:

03-23-2011 - NOA1 received in mail, dated 03-09-2011.

05-31-2011 - RFE requested. They want better passport pictures of me.

Our news..

I sent all my new paperwork to the US for my fiance to add to his for the petition. It left here (NZ) on the 15th by courier... and guess what? It is lost in the mail somewhere. Can you believe this. I am supposed to fill in all these forms and stuff but I'm just sending a second pack today. ( :cry: over it!)

I guess that's gonna make me an October filer :(

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Our news..

Just got a text from my man - he called customs and was told that whoever (Post Office in NZ) told me to get him to call Customs to find out what the problem was and if they could track it as it could be held up in customs (WTH?) - was wrong!

Customs holds Couriered packages for up to 30-45 days. So I am sending a duplicate pack by registered mail today which will take up to 6 days. The courier pack cost me $45 (would be nice if they could tell you this when you courier a package) !!! Anyway, just as well I kept a duplicate of everything I sent, I'm not waiting any longer - its just paper afterall.

Hey thanks... and guess what - just before I was about to take my new stack of paper to the Post Office, I checked the status of my first pack again and it said "Delivery Unsuccessful" :wacko: . So I called the number they had left on the message and they said it means the package has now been delivered but they did't get a signature. So it's there !! Yay!!! he can pick it up tomorrow. Hopefully our new petition will be sent within a few days.
