For real, but if it was their mistake they could send it for free, not charging, idk.. they gotta talk to USCIS, even scan this letter from NVC to them.. damn, all this headache, all this time and they were approved! awesome!!! :dance: :dance:

I hope the same happens to Nema!

Yes hope Nema gets hers soon. Oh trying to get USCIS to admit a mistake takes a circus act. The operators there don't know what NVC is. USCIS never mentions NVC. Now if Jan's fiance has to contact a congressman USCIS will bow down and do what it takes.

Yes thats amazing Jan, but it kind of freaky that they didn't get you the NOA2 letter. I would post this in the main forum, I've heard its not easy and expensive to get them to send a second NOA2 letter. So you need to make them realize they screwed up and need to send you that NOA2.

I mean if you got a case # you were probably approved at least a month+ ago which means they wasted a month where you could have been trying to get all the documents and paperwork done.

yup, I read it somewhere, we need to pay $340 for the copy when time for us to file AOS...We called them but they said, that was it, we don't need the NOA2 anymore....so we will try again and again til we get a nice and competent person to update our status and send our NOA2....

Wanna ask a question, I called NVC on Tuesday this week to confirm if they have sent our approved petition to the consulate, they told be they've sent it previous day which is Monday 08/08/2011, now, when should I contact Consulate for packet 3?

Hi my fellow march filers!

You can track your package to the embassy if you like, if you scroll back a few pages, you will see how to do it, Max posted about it. (I'm still figuring it out so won't repost how) In any case, it doesn't take long to travel to the embassies, you should have some info in your country's portal about it.

You can use the DHL link Max gave, and once your package reaches your embassy it only takes a couple of days to find out when they've sent packet 3. You can send in your packet 3 info to them as soon as they send it out, you don't need to actually wait for it to arrive in the mail. Check with your Embassy info to see what they require in packet 3, it's a little different for some of the embassys.

Glad to see a lot of approvals and people gearing up for Packet 3. My fiance sent packet 3 today so the waiting game begins again for us. Hoping things will go with out a hitch as they have gone so far! :thumbs:

Really good to see that everyone that was waiting (deedee&sam, dante&geor, LookyWhatIFound ... just some people i interacted with on the forum...) are making progress!! all the new bee's good luck and be positive and focused when it's time to do the paperwork.. the more detail the better. :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Nice!! Finally some good news regarding interviews...instead Naples is totally clueless. It's already a miracle if to my inquiry they didn't reply "what's a K-1 visa?!" :bonk:
