What happened to the Vermont Disservice Center today? ZERO approvals. Is everyone there dead? Did Captain Kirk say "Beam me up Scotty; there's no intelligent life on this planet"? Why can't these people just do their jobs? What is the problem with them doing what we paid them for?

Al422 is trying his secret method of getting approvals by complaining again.

All joking aside, I wouldn't mind some activity out of California either.

They haven't been exactly going at a thrilling pace this week, either.

I am very happy for you that your ordeal is over, but for the rest of us, every day these irresponsible idiots goof off instead of working is another day stolen from our lives. Therefore I do not find it funny.

Yeah, I see we just got one. My magic worked again.

Let me think of some more insults to hurl at them. Maybe we will get a few more.

maybe it's just me coming from an ex-communist country but you hurling at them won't change much. i see u're over the 5 month mark, so i really hope u will get ur noa2 soon. even though i feel like i am going insane here, stuck in this boring town, without my fiance, i just want to think about next winter when i will curl up next to my sweetie under the blankets, watching the snow fall :)

Not everything I write here is serious. We have an ongoing joke here that whenever I rant, approvals come in. It is coincidence of course, but within minutes of my starting this thread, we got our one approval for the day, hence my post about how the magic worked.

My fiance comes from the biggest ex-communist country, Russia, so I can see where you are coming from. To her, this is all just fine because it is the norm she grew up with. For me, a New York boy and a businessman, I am accustomed to controlling my environment and for things to happen based on the aggressiveness of my actions and quality of my decisions. Since none of it works here, this thing for me has been a complete horror.

Just so you know, I spent the last five months cultivating political contacts in Congress specifically for this purpose, and on the day of the 5 month mark, this past Monday, I called in my chips. Let's see what happens.

AI, if your chips work some magic, and you have any left over would you mind sending some my way? I have a long wait, VDC will prolly make it much longer, so I should prolly start compiling a chip pile asap too. Fellow NYer here :)
