hello everyone, is there anyone that have a NoA2 in january or february still waiting for lagos to send package 3? or anyone just recently got package 3? pls share, my NOA2 was 02/02/11 and im still waiting for this golden email.

Did you call DOS to confirm your case left NVC? I am asking this because I saw there was a few people that received emails yesterday with there interviews scheduled for May. Also did you track your pkg. But I would first confirm your case indeed left NVC. Those that got the email with there interview date I believe had NOA2 dates of FEB 2. But it looks like Lagos is running a little slower than normal to log the cases and assign dates the good news is the interview dates are closer than 4months out which is what they use to be they are more like 2months out...Good Luck no worries

i called the dept of state but the only thing they told was that my case is already in lagos and that it left on the week of the feb 11th, i dont know what date to track since they didnt specified. thanks for your input, i really appreciate it.

Did you ask DOS if they have assigned an interview date for you? You can also ask DOS what day did it arrive in Lagos? ALso call NVC and ask them what date your petition left then you can track it. If it is in Lagos already that is good like I said before I just believe for some reason Lagos is taking longer to log petitions but the interview dates are closer so just pray that the dates stay closer. You will be fine no worries hang in there the light is shining at the end of the tunnel!!!!

I also was approved on the feb 2. I sent the embassy 2 emails and after 10 days or so they finally replied to my first emai with the packet and interview. In addition I was calling DOS but they didn't have any info regarding when the case arrived in Lagos, packet, or interview date. Try the email option, you will need to provide them with case number, beneficiary's name, and date of birth.

congratulations, im still waiting on mine. can you send me a sample of the letter you sent to the lagos embassy and also did you receive package 3 in the mail or email? thanks

In the subject line: Case # - Beneficiary's name - DOB

Here is what I wrote in my email:

Dear Sir or Madam, I am making inquiry if the US Consulate has received our case in Lagos and am requesting the information packet and interview date. Our case left the NVC on Feb. 9, 2011 and we have not heard anything as of today. Hope you are able to help us. Thank you for your assistance and time in this matter.

You still want to continue to call the DOS to check on your status. It works for some, but for me the email is the first response I received. Hope you hear something soon! Keep us updated.
