Green card stamp in passport enough to enter country?

My wife received her green card stamp in her passport and then went home the next day for her sisters wedding. I received her actual green card in the mail about two weeks later. My question is, will she have any hassle at POE when she flies back to the states? I am hesitant about fedexing her the card as I'm paranoid that fedex or whoever will lose it.

7-11-05: Check Cashed

7-14-05: NOA1 snail mail
