A gunman shouting "Allahu Akbar" opened fire on a bus carrying U.S. airmen in Frankfurt, Germany, killing two and wounding two others before his gun jammed and he was subdued, officials said.

An ethnic Albanian from Kosovo was taken into custody and the FBI was heading an investigation because U.S. citizens were killed and to determine whether the shooting was an act of terrorism.

President Obama made an unscheduled appearance to say, "I am saddened and I am outraged by this attack" and U.S. investigators would work with German authorities and "spare no effort" to ensure that "all of the perpetrators are brought to justice."

He added that the killings were a "stark reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices" of American servicemembers.

...

When he opened fire, the gunman, identified as a long-term resident of Germany, shouted "Allahu Akbar," according to sources. He fired nine times, killling two and critically wounding two others before the gun jammed and he was subdued by other passengers. While being wrestled into submission, the suspect shouted either "Jihad Jihad" or "Allahu Akbar," sources said.

...

The gunman was identifed by sources to ABC News as Arid Uka, although other spellings give his name as Arif Uka. Although he has lived in Germany for years, he is a citizen of Kosovo and his family is from the northern town of Mitrovica.

Note the use of the word Islamist and not Islamic. The government is using grammar and minor changes in spelling to control your mind.

An American military official, speaking on ground rules of anonymity, said that the United States was not ruling out terrorism, although it was unclear if the suspect was acting alone or with partners. “I don’t know if he’s tied to a group,” said the official. “But there is enough information at this point to indicate that he identifies with Islamist terrorist ideology.”

I find this a bit ironic seeing how if it wasn't for the USA there wouldn't be any Muslim's left in Bosnia and Kosovo. The Serbs were on their way of taking care of that until we stepped in.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Don't be silly. The shooter isn't Muslim at all, he is ET and his goal is world domination. Even space aliens know the best way to conquer earth is to pretend you're Muslim.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

They should have stricter gun laws in Germany.

The Germans should have had stricter immigration laws. Why import people that have a propensity to hate Westerners and want to kill Westerners? How many of these incidents have to go down before it becomes obvious?

They should have stuck with Poles and Ukrainians for their cheap labor needs.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

Try to make that point when folks in Germany are approaching the risk of being gunned down that their US counterparts face. At current, the Germans - much like any other citizens of the developed world excluding the US - are six times less likely to become a victim of gun violence than their US counterparts. Despite the almost religous belief to the contrary around here, more guns do not translate into more safety. It's not like less gun restrictions did those victims in Ft. Hood any good, is it?

I am sure when all the information come to light it will be obvious that he is not a Muslim. They do not do things like this.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I don't really buy it.

If you live in a good neighborhood in the US, you're just as unlikely to encounter gun violence as any German/European.

Gun violence is limited to undesirable gang-infested areas which skew the average.

The Poles? Surely you haven't kept up to date on what non-German population causes the most ruckus in Germany.

In Germany, Polish organized crime groups are the second largest non-German organized crime group...

That assumes that undesirable gang-infested areas are absent in Europe. You should know better.

My Russian coworkers tell me Poles are wannabe Russian when it comes to sex trafficking and organized crime.

Not in Germany they're not. Polish organized crime gangs are outdone only by the Turks there.

European gang areas look better on Google Streetview because European gangsters walk around in tight fitting jeans wearing berets and munching on baguettes whilst they prance ever so gaily down the rue.

How did the Russian mob manage to get locked out of Germany?
