Well, we arrived at the embassy at 5:10am. There were at least 100 people already there. We went in at 6:15 and sat down. We were soon called to give original documentation. About 20 mins later we went to pay and then do fingerprints. An hour later we were called to window 23. The man was a young American with a short beard. He gave us attitude from the beginning. He asked:

How did you meet? He told us that people dont usually meet on FB. He asked Edo why he was looking for chicas on FB. Edo replied that he was looking for friends to practice english. Then CO asked why he did not meet men on FB to practice english with. Edo told him that it is awkward to meet men online.

When did you meet?

What are his parents names?

Where do they live?

They asked him about my parents name/location

What are the names of my kids?

How old are they?

What is my ex husbands name and date we divorced

When is his father living in Georgia?

After the 1st interview at 23 we waited 4 long hours. We were finally called to #11, which we knew about and that its the investigation room. We were confident and said #11 is better than nothing. They took Edo in the room first. They asked him :

How we met-again this guy didnt like the facebook thing

Our first kiss

Date I arrived in DR

First time we had sex

Did we use protection

What kind of birth control I use

Last time we had sex

What we did last night

Everything about my kids

I went in the room and was asked basically the same questions. Every one of our answers matched. We felt good about everything.

About 30 mins later we were called back to #23. The first CO we had requested that we come back tomorrow at 8am because his colleague needs to ask some questions. We said thats great and we will be there in the morning. I have never heard of this happening and wonder if anyone can give us some insight into this situation. We still are confident. we have everything we need and answered 100% perfectly.

You underwent a Stokes interview (NOT fun). Beware the return visit. Not sure that I understand your follow-on message; was a green slip attached to your folder?

Had similar experience but received the visa the same day as the stokes interview. I actually was happy for the stokes interview becuase it gave me, the US citizen a chance to answer questions and provide clarity to everything. I wasn't going to let my wifes visa get denied by any means. I would definitely be prepared for the next day but it seems you should be fine! Also, for the CO to say he never heard of people linking up on FB and developing a relationship is absurd to me. Nowadays, alot fo people are meeting over this vehicle....

Unfortunatley, we were denied (221g). We were there another 6 hours and extensivley interrogated seperately. WE answered everything perfectly and gave it our all. They said we were in it for fruad purposes. We are now working with a lawyer to get things straightened out.
