I just received my GC and something I noticed poses some issues I was hoping you guys can help me with. Our AOS was approved on February 24, 2011, but my GC shows that I have been a resident since December 20, 2010!!! How is that even possible? That's the date on which I had my biometrics. Now I wonder if there was a problem with their system or what...and when I should apply for ROC: within the 90 day window till December 20, 2012 or within 90 days till February 24, 2013? All my records say I got approved on Febr 24, except for the GC that says I've been a resident since last December. Any input will be greatly appreciated... :yes:

February 10, 2011: EAD & AP approved! (day 83)
February 24, 2011: GC production ordered! (day 96)

Removing conditions: 5 months and 30 days!
December 6, 2012: package mailed
December 10, 2012: NOA 1 (day 4)

June, 5, 2013: APPROVED!!!

June, 10 2013: 10 yr GC received

If your approval letter says Feb 24 but the greencard has Dec. 20 as expiration date on it, I'd make an infopass appointment...or follow the directions that came with the card for what to do when you find something wrong with the card.

I hope though that we both have not thought of any other explaination of the two different dates that would spare you from having to get a new card. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply. I followed the instructions as for what to do if I find an error etc...so I called USCIS. Apparently I'm supposed to mail the card and supporting documentation to a PO Box in Arizona. God knows how long that will take! :bonk: Getting so tired of all of this...

keep a copy of the card before you mail it. And if i were you, i would get an infopass appointment to get a stamp on your passport that serves as a legal proof of permanent residence
