Howdy,

My K1 wife and I divorce a little over a year ago(after 8 years). Her parent are here, I used my income to sponsor them, and her siblings too, but No Visa have been issue for her siblings yet. I now have another K1 petition and I'm concern because i might not meet the guideline. According to the 2011 guideline, I'm just a under 200%.

I used my income to sponsor my ex parent=2 her siblings =3 + 1 husband = 6. I myself have 3 kids altogether =4. If i do the math i have 10.

My ex wife parent have their green-card two years ago. And she already have her citizenship I want to cancel all past sponsorship, so it won't hurt my new K1 petition. How do i cancel?

I don't have any past case number. Just names.

BTW we divorce because she cheated on me and after her parent are here. (*^&*^*_)!

please help

thanks,

Aw man you are to nice of a guy!!! I would have told her if she wants them here she had to do it herself!! How did you handle all that and how could she cheat on you after doing all that for her. #_**% is right :) So sorry 2 hear that. If they already got their green card i don't think your responsible for them anymore are you? When is the point one is no longer bound to the aff. of support?

You can't cancel sponsorship after the greencard has been issued.

You are no longer on the hook for the ex as she naturalized.

You can contact USCIS to cancel your Affidavit of Support for the siblings & 1 husband if they have not been issued Greencards yet.

Make an info-pass appointment and bring as much info as you can.

As foe her parents, you're on the hook until they work 40 quarters or naturalize.

Bob is correct; you are not responsible for the ex as she is a US citizen now, and can cancel proposed sponsorship for the siblings as they do not have their visas yet. But you cannot cancel sponsorship for the parents, you are on the hook until they die, leave the US permanently, become US citizens or work 40 quarters.

I really don't remember if i did an I-864 for her siblings. All i remember is receiving a case number, it was WAC XXXXXX. Just when do they ask for the affidavit of support for relatives?

If they haven't reached the NVC yet then you didn't. First step at NVC is the Affidavit of Support. WAC is a USCIS Case number not an Embassy Case Number (which are assigned at NVC).
