Hi,

I am an Australian citz and a resident of the US. My Aussie passport will expire at the end of next year and I am in the process of getting it renewed. My problem is that I have been calling all over the place in the city i live in if they take or do Australian Passport Photo's and none of them do.

I live in Bakersfield CA and I am about 2 hours away from L.A.

So my question is, would anyone know where I can get or go somewhere not too far to have an Australian Passport Photo taken so i can complete and send off my Renewal Application. I am hoping not to have to take a day off work just to drive to L.A to do this and I really am not comfortable doing an online order thing. I would rather go to the place. If i have to drive so then be it. But just need some suggestion from anyone where I can go that is close to Bakersfield CA maybe L.A? or FRESNO?

Thank You

Thanks YuAndDan.. I have found this website already and even did my own but never comes out right. I

Print out the photo requirements and bring those to the real photographer, not a passport photo place.

Thank you nickbits. I did not even thought of that. But you know I have called many photo studios even professional ones and they all said they cannot do it..

In the past I did my own several times, I simply set cam on a tripod took pic in front of a white wall, and then used photoshop to crop and size picture for the correct size, then printed out on quality photo paper.

In other cases if visiting a consulate they will simply take the pictures or refer you to a place to get them done, I know that the Chinese consulate does this.

If you do not have the correct ones for OZ they will not renew your passport. We have special requirements as you know. I went to have mine changed today in Atlanta and had to have them done again by a person the consulate recommended lucky it was around the corner while we were there. I did not realise they were so different in size each country is so different.Try ringing your embassy in CA and ask them if they know as they should for you.If you are goig to LA for the renewal or are you sending it off in the post? I drove 2 hours to Atlanta as I did not trust such a special document in the mail, plus I had other docs as well name change and birth cert.
