Were we are right now in this process

My stuff wouldve left the nvc sooner but my cosponsor and i misread the contract between the household member and the sponsor, and it was filled out with me(the petitioner) as the sponsor and my co sponsor as the household member. we kept getting emails back from the nvc which were very vague saying we did not fill it out in blue or black ink(we did) and it wasnt signed or dated correctly. then we finally figured it out that my sponsor was signing were i needed to sign and vice versa, so basically we fixed it and sent it out to the nvc over night. anyday now we should hear that it has left because the last email specifically said that the nvc has finished reviewing this case and they are just awaiting the corrected form we sent back. So anyways our case couldve left atleast a couple weeks ago, but we are still waiting for hong kong to report our marriage to the philippines(we have been waiting for months). about a month ago we got an email from philcongen the philippine consulate in hong kong saying that they received the check and everything and they have deposited the check into the PNB in hong kong for clearing and the clearing will take about a month and they will process our report of marriage when they get a receipt of instruction from the pnb when the check has been cleared. 6 weeks and 2 emails later we still have not heard from them yet so we are hoping that our case will be sent to the consulate and our marriage will be reported at about the same time-soon. Then after that we need to try and get done the medical exam and a new passport all before my wifes interview, my wife has never been to the doctor before.

I just want to ask after reading my situation do we even have enough time to realistically get a new passport? Since it is quite possible we get a scheduled interview before we even hear from hong kong about our marriage being reported to the philippines?

If we dont have enough time would there be any issue with the fact that my wife signs her name and calls herself by her name that would be on her new passport(everything she has signed including everything in our case has been signed that way) and not what it is on her old pasport which she got before we were married? also would anyone question our relationship because of the passport name not being the same as on the forms? Or are we now forced to wait and get a new passport for the very reason that she has signed everything in my last name?

You can always delay the interview but honestly you should have updated the passport right after your marriage.
