Frequent Travel and CR-1 Visa

My wife got a CR-1 visa about 9 months ago.

However, she wants to start a business that will require her to travel to her home country very frequently. (She will be buying stuff to sell here and vice-versa.)

I know that in order to turn the CR-1 into a regular green card, she needs to show that she is willing to live here. But I'm sure that frequent trips will raise flags.

Is there some type of license that she can get? Just to play it safe ....

The requirement of residency is residing in the USA more than 50% of time.

Short trips abroad but majority of time at home in the USA is fine.

First entry to the USA on CR-1 results in a regular green-card, one with conditions attached, the condition being that still in same bonafide marital relationship at the end to the 2 years of residency.

She would need more time in US, at the same time it could be shown as she is travelling for business.

If you can establish she is travelling for business then it should be fine.

Start a business together, perhaps incorporate (LLC) in your state, this will provide you with a business license or evidence of being a business.

Also, keep track of the exact dates when she's out of the U.S. You'll need that when applying for citizenship, I understand.
