Oooooh. I didn't know this thread was here!!! I have been watching every episode. I'm obsessed! My husband is out of town and I totally hung up on him when he called during last night's episode. I love love LOVE the judges this year. Steven Tyler makes me laugh, and Jennifer is such a sweetheart. I love how Randy always has a big grin on his face when he's enjoying a performance.

I hope Ashton goes too! I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how she's even gotten this far. My favourites are Casey, Jacob, and James. I love Naima, too, but last night's performance wasn't that great. Scotty and Lauren have great country voices if you're into that kind of thing. Paul McDonald is definitely unique. He always makes me laugh. The talent this year has been crazy good.

I agree with most of what you've said, but my favorite is Pia. I think she has an amazing voice and I'm pulling for her to go all the way, but the early front runners usually don't win...Adam Lambert, David Archuleta, Chris Daughtry, etc.

I actually like that Garth Brooks song that Scotty sang, though I generally don't like country, but I just don't really understand what's so great about him. And I totally don't "get" Paul's weird movements. Naima turned me off - it was such a departure from what I thought her style was, and I didn't like it. And while I liked Jacob's performance and I love his voice, I thought he didn't really grasp last night's Idol theme - R. Kelly is your idol? The child molester, really Jacob?

Okay, I'm assuming JohnSmith has watched it by now. Next time you're just going to have to keep out of this thread until you've watched it.

I'm happy with their choice to eliminate Ashton. I kept saying "Please don't give her the wild card. Please don't give her the wild card." I'm not quite sure what they really see in her. There were others who were eliminated who were far better.

I wasn't surprised by the decision last night. I don't think Ashton was bad, but she was entirely forgettable.

About their mansion...I swear I've seen it before on a reality show...maybe one of those VH1 dating shows like Rock of Love??
