So who else is still watching? I love the new judges.

Top 12 men performed last night. My favorite was Jacob, but I'm concerned that he will pull a Melinda Doolittle and then go Christian Contemporary. Overall, I thought performances were good, although I was a little bit turned off by some of their appearances/mannerisms. CJ must lose the coke bottle glasses, Brett and his hair tosses were very strange, James is too wannabe Adam Lambert but he's lacking the X-factor, Scotty McCreery sings country (nuff said) but I also had a hard time getting past his resemblance to the kid on Mad magazine, Paul McDonald sang like a homeless drunk, and Casey looked like Will Ferrell impersonating an American Idol serial killer.

Thoughts?

I'm watching it but I missed last nights. My DVR was supposed to record it but I've been having issues with it. I'll try and watch the ep online and then let you know :P

ROFLMAO at your description of the guys, especially Casey. I liked him a lot up until last night. I was a bit creeped out by his performance and felt scared for whoever it was in the audience he was singing to. I recommend she gets a restraining order ASAP :P

I did like Jacob. Not overly impressed by Jovany, Jordan or one of the other cute young guys whose name escapes me although I think one of them may get through due to the cute factor and the preteen girls voting. I thought they were okay, but not really memorable ...

I like Scotty, but I also like country music.

- Tynisa - AWFUL.. out-of-tune and awful really

- Naima - song choice doesn't look too great but she sounds good

- Kendra - sounds fabulous

- Rachel - love her voice and her personality. She makes me laugh :P but damn girl those eyebrows! p.s. disagre with the judges immensely!

- Kendra - good but singing in a foreign language is usually a bit of a cry for attention

- Lauren - big voice, sounds good

- Ashthon - nothing special

- Julie - good but shaky.

- Haley - doing the "grunty" voice is annoying and trying to make her seem "hard core". She's doing it inappropriately

- Thia - is a fave but she was a bit weak this week

- Lauren Alaina - singing like a karaoke singer

- Pia - Trying too hard

**Of the girls I'd kick out the first one.

- Clint - He sounds good hear but he sucked all the other times I heard him

- Jovany - very good.

- Jordan - don't like the mix

- Scotty McCreedy - He went off key a bit but that could just be nerves and his voice is great

- Stefano - not too bad. He seems to be struggling with his enunciation.. seems too forced

- Jacob - not a fan. It's funny on YouTube they talk about his awesome tone but that's my issue... sounds like he's singing through cotton balls. Good voice control though

- Casey - great voice, great personality

- Paul - He's good. I don't remember him from other eps but he sounds too much like the original singer of the song so I'm hoping NOT a parrot. Keep him till next week (just noticed WOW his teeth are white against his skin colour!!)

- Tim - not bad

- Brett - was watching someone else when his song came on.. thought he was a chick so a bit confused. Normally I like him.

- James Durban - not bad

- Robbie - weak and shaky... damn. Normally I like him

**Of the guys I'd kick out Jacob. He did the crappest performance but he seems popular online.. weird :S

So there you go. I don't vote though.

Hi, Jenn!! I'm baaaccckk!!

Remember me? I was big fan of Casey James on Season 9 thread.

I'm overall satisfied with Top 13. It's bad there is no HOT guy like Casey James this season...

In my opinion, Casey Abrams is more like Seth Rogen than Will Ferrell to me :D

As a rock lover, I'm rooting for James for now :) But his style is limited and I'm afraid that I don't think he can go that far...

Guys definitely outperform the gals. Tough to see a woman win this year (the way I see it).

His moves were kinda awkward, but I do like Paul McDonald.

I have been watching bits and pieces of it but not enough to know who is who.. but I do like the judges though.. they seem to actaully offer the contestants good advice instead of just lambasting them..

So... Who should go tonight?

My guess (hope) is Ashthon. She was just OK last night.

She shouldn't be picked for wild-card in the first place...

Personally, I'm looking forward to watching Adam Lambert's performance tonight :)

Oooooh. I didn't know this thread was here!!! I have been watching every episode. I'm obsessed! My husband is out of town and I totally hung up on him when he called during last night's episode. I love love LOVE the judges this year. Steven Tyler makes me laugh, and Jennifer is such a sweetheart. I love how Randy always has a big grin on his face when he's enjoying a performance.

I hope Ashton goes too! I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how she's even gotten this far. My favourites are Casey, Jacob, and James. I love Naima, too, but last night's performance wasn't that great. Scotty and Lauren have great country voices if you're into that kind of thing. Paul McDonald is definitely unique. He always makes me laugh. The talent this year has been crazy good.

How many are getting chopped tonight?
