I entered in the US with a K1 visa and my daughter as K2. We will be removing conditions come september. I know the fee for I-751 is $590. Do I need to pay another $590 for my daughter or just the biometrics service fee of $85 for her filed with the same application to remove conditions?

Please let me know.

Thank you.

Only need to pay $85 for Bio fee (not for filing fee) if the child is included in your petition and is also removing his/her conditional status, regardless age.

Total to pay for you and your child: $675.00

Hi Guys!

Unless the fee has gone up since I file in February......You only need to add an extra $85 for the child.

I filed for both myself and my son with no problems!

However, my 8 year old son did not have a biometrics appointment which surprised me, but I was informed that although we pay a fee it is not necessary for the child to have their biometrics retaken and his new GC was issued with his first pic.

Hope that helps! I'm not sure it was $675 though. I believe it was more like $590!

Good Luck!

Instructions from USCIS site regarding to filing fee:

Filing Fee :

$505. (Add $85 biometric fee for a total of $590, where applicable. See the form instructions for payment details.)

Special Instructions :

Note on Filing Fee: Please include the base petition fee plus $85 biometric services fee for all conditional resident applicants. Each conditional resident child listed under Part 5 of this form who is a dependent seeking to remove their conditional status, is required to submit an additional biometric services fee of $85, regardless of age

http://www.uscis.gov/i-751

OP and the following post wanted to know how much they have to pay for the dependent included in the same petition with the principal applicant.

* Main applicant fee: $590 ($505 filing fee and $85 Bio fee)

* Dependent included in the application and seeking to remove conditions: $85 (just pay for Bio fee not for filing fee).

Total to pay for both (main applicant and dependent included in the same petition): $590 + $85 = $ 675

Yeah! My bad!

I guess I've sent them so much money I forget!

Actually I think it was because we sent separate checks and I just remember the $590.

Good looking out!
