My fiance was filling out the I-134 a few days ago and we were confused about item 11 which requires him to make a statement on whether he intends to support me, the benficiary in a specific manner, which they define as offering room and board for a certain amount of time, or a specific amount of money given as a lump sum or monthly etc.

Naturally he would be supporting me as his fiancee and i would be living with him once my visa is approved, but there wouldn't be specific terms. It's would be informal.

If he says he does not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the beneficiary, would that make it seem like he's not going to be responsible for me and result in denial of the petition?

If he says he intends to make contributions...how do we specify what sort of contributions it's going to be?

Would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this issue. Maybe we're not understanding it correctly.
