We filed August 30th 2010 to the Vermont processing center and was touched in December. Still waiting for NOA2. Hoping and praying for answer soon! good luck to you.

I'm getting really frustrated now. I've been waiting since 25th of Nov until now. Is my life depending on NOA 2??? Its very depressing and don't even know what to do if I don't get approval :( Awwww wish this will be ended soon so that I can be with my loved one. Should I get my other half give them a call??

I think it's time for us VSC September filers to start making some noise! We've been all too quiet, now's the time to be the squeaky wheel needing the grease!

Sound off Septemberers!

09/21/10 - I-129F Sent!

09/23/10 - I-129F Received in Dallas, TX

09/28/10 - Text & E-mail NOA1 (It was at 12:44AM, weird) Notification that our case was transferred to VSC.

09/29/10 - Check cashed

09/30/10 - NOA-1 Hard Copy dated Sep. 27, 2010

10/03/10 - TOUCH!

After numerous calls to USCIS, my two Texas Senators and a Congressman, the latter got an "expedite" put through (if you can call a month and a week after ONPT an expedite). Just never let up! Even though mine took way too long, there were people who were a month before me and waited longer because they just sat back and watched. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

03/31/11 - NOA-2!

04/05/11 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

04/07/11 - NVC Received

04/12/11 - Case left NVC via DHL

04/14/11 - Consulate Received Hard Copy of Case

Right now, most victims of the Vermont Disservice Center are running 6 to 7 months. The lucky ones get it in 5 1/2 months, and the unlucky ones go out to 7 1/2. And since they are losing ground because their speed is so pathetically slow, it will not take long before they are out to 8 to 9 months.

How do they intend to deal with the crunch from next summer? Will they then go out to a year or more?

I have already been squeaky as they will soon find out from Senator Gillibrand and Congressman Israel.

Just called and got them to do a service request quite easily. Probably doesn't do anything, but at least there is one more note in their system that I tried...

Yeah, I think it depends on the person you get on the line, some are just really lazy or for whatever reason don't want to do it. I would try every day, just say you feel like it's been a really long time/taking too long. Best of luck!
