On the 22nd of November of 2010 we received the receipt notice. 2 weeks later, we received ort biometrics appointment for the 29th of December 2010. In January we checked out sstatus online ant is saisd that on december 27th they had sent on december 27th a request for evidence (RFE).

The 1st of March 2011 our status online sad that on February 28th 2011 they received the response to the RFE.

Our question is: How long do you think until we get the EAD (employment authorization document)?

Is anyone guess, EAD typically takes 3-4 months to get after filing the I-765, an RFE may have stalled the process.

Moving to WORKING/Traveling during immigrations..

I assumed RFE stalled it but I guess I was wondering if the EAD was still processed if my biometrics were done after they sent the RFE and before I responded to the RFE.

Your EAD card was more than likely held up due to RFE because usually you get EAD card aprox 2-3 weeks after bio. So as you returned RFE 28th Feb you should if they continue with your case receive it shortly I would assume.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month
