Hi....

I applied for AOS, early parole and EAD on January 14th, 2011

Near the end of January, I received my biometrics appointment.

On feb 7th, I had my biometrics appointment.

Online, USCIS still hasn't updated me from the January 14th status (basically receipts were sent for all 3 applications)

Today, EAD and early parole are still not updated but AOS says my file was moved from Vermont Service Center to the California Service Center

Should I be worried?? or is it normal for paperwork to be transfered???

HELP! TOTALLY FREAKING OUT :S

Strange VSC normaly does not handle I-485.

Anyway a move to CSC in many cases results in an approval without an interview.

VSC is our center so we sent the EAD, early parole (forget the code) and the AOS all at the same time to them....

So it doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem then??

And how long before I hear from EAD....I had biometrics appointment on Feb.7th....just wondering...

Glad they did not reject everything. You need to follow the instructions in the I-485 directions. You mail AOS/EAD/AP package to the PO Box in Chicago.

I wonder what they will do with I-765 and I-131, they should forward to Missouri (The National Benefits Center)

Don't freak out about not seeing things online, none of my case status numbers even worked online until my EAD and AP were actually approved (useful, huh?!) Neither of my I-130 or I-485 numbers show up online at all right now but I know they are working on it.. so you can breathe easy!

My NOA date was Dec 23rd and I got notice about my EAD on Feb 24 so pretty much 2 months... seems to be about standard from what I've read around here. Though bear in mind they have up to 3 months before you can start trying to grease the wheels!

I am pretty sure we sent to Chicago...we followed the instructions but vermont is our center....that is where we had to go for biometrics too.....

forward to Missouri??? I'm confused.....

yeah, I find they slack a bit in terms of updating their online file.....hopefully I get the EAD soon and there's no problems!

Then don't be More than likely EAD and AP are being handled at the National Benifits center, in Missouri.

When you said sent to VSC it sounded like you sent everything to VSC. VSC does not handle anything with regards to adjustment of status.

More than likely your AOS was transferred from NBC to CSC, which is very common.

Note the service center I used was also VSC, however in our case they handled only our I-129F visa petition, and later our I-751 Removal of conditions application.

well I have no idea lol... we followed the instructions 'cause we went through them very carefully....so where ever we had to send them, that's where it was sent....

online it says it was transfered from VSC to CSC which is why I say we sent to Vermont....but that happened today....I am sure if we had sent to the wrong place, we would've been notified in January when we initially sent it in....I am assuming....

Hopefully, it means I will get my stuff soon :) I can't wait to start working....I am a teacher and dying to get back in a classroom!
