I have made this clear but I will repeat myself since you seem to have missed it - my comments in this thread are focused on the phenomenon of human trafficking. There is most certainly 'fault' in human trafficking.

Agreed, my comments on this thread have all been in the context of trafficking. In that context, do you agree that consumers and producers are both at blame?

I will grant you though, that IMO producers are more at blame.

I understand you agree that prostitution should NOT be a crime (in a practical sense, in Ukraine, it is not. You will see no one prosecuted for prostitution there. Some prostitutes may be arrested and made to give BJs to the cops though)

I think no one here supports trafficking, and these women are certainly NOT protesting "trafficking". Who the hell knows WHAT they are protesting?

One could just as easily blame the trafficking on the Muslim religion since in some twist of logic Muslim women are to be spared being used as sperm buckets, but RUB women can be, and that is where most of them are ending up, in Muslim countries. Shall we try that angle? I think it is because Muslim men would rather have a hot RUB chick. Can't fault their taste.

Yeah, I doubt anyone on this forum would be. Not to get too graphic but I can't think of anything that would make me lose a ####### faster than the belief that the woman I was having sex with was unhappy about it. I think that's probably pretty normal and this is something Capt. Hammer alluded to earlier. If you are a sex slave and your existence depends on happy customers (i.e. customers who bust a nut all over your majestic FSU tetas), what are the chances you're going to let on the fact that you're unhappy until after the customer is gone and his pile of $20 bills are in your hands?

Does ANYone find it odd that the FEMEN "protesters" and "members" are ALWAYS Hot bare breasted young women? You mean middle aged, fully clothed women in Ukraine do not support the battle against human trafficking?

It is really difficult to have an adult conversation with someone that thinks these women are "Feminists" or even serious.

People get paid a lot of money for acting. Why shouldn't a woman get paid a lot of money for acting like she is enjoying sex? People get paid a lot of money for risking their health and their bodies. The main problem for prostitutes is they are underpaid.

To bring the focus back on the population I've been referring to all along - victims of human trafficking - what would you say the main problem for prostitutes who are victims of human trafficking is? That they are underpaid?

A lot depends on the circumstances as far as being under paid. The ones at my bachelors party in Minsk were definitely not under paid.

They're not paid actresses, they're members of Femen. Ask your wife about them. Their tactics may seem silly, it's not a way I'd personally have them go, but their motivations are very serious.

Sure ok. But everything in your tl;dr doesn't change anything about the protesters and their motives, which were not entirely represented in the linked story.

I don't watch TV, haven't taken a stance one way or the other on reality shows. It's fortunate that my opinion or TV watching habits has nothing to do with Fema and the illegal sex trade in Ukraine.

I agree. If it's a woman's choice, that's cool. That's why I said that the news story is only showing the tip of the iceberg because the contest is only part of it. Protesting against the illegal sex trade where real women are brutalized, raped, murdered, and very often never heard from or seen again. My wife was able to fill in the rest of the details for me, based on her own knowledge of her own country. Maybe your wife can do the same so you can be a little more informed on the matter.

Regarding just the bride contest portion, just as we have our own opinions it's not wrong if Fema want to express their own opinions about contest brides. Good for them for speaking their minds, maybe real democracy will someday come to the country.

Strange. No profile, no info, joined less than a month ago. First post says he is going back for the "first time" since his wife came over "a few years ago" but she is an expert on the FEMEN organization. The remaining posts are about defending "feminists" and complaining about the RUB forum.

This is even more strange than a "feminist" organization whose members are ALL hot, bare breasted, young women and hold non-specific signs in foreign languages. The folks in the UK forum will eat it up with a spoon. I cannot imagine having such a "non-life" that I would concern myself with what people say in regional forums.
