NVC Just Told Me....

First off, I would like thank everyone on this site. VJ has been the most wonderful place I have found. I know this is not an easy process, but with everyone's help and support it has made it a little easier.

Ok....tonight I did get some exciting news - for me even more exciting than the NOA2. I have been trying to have patience with the NVC. I know they have been overwhelmed lately with all the applications that have been recently approved and forwarded to them.

I called twice before - probably way too early, but with some being received two or three days later and then being forwarded on to the embassy, I thought what the heck, but no luck. Finally I decided to give them some more time. I actually was going to call next week Wednesday (you know give them some time to catch their breath after a holiday weekend - I know I need it at work), but again I decided what the heck?

I am so glad I did because when I called after giving my USCIS receipt number, they asked for the beneficiary's name and birthday and my phone number. This told me something was up, because I had not been asked that information before. I was told the application had been received and as a matter of fact forwarded today to the embassy.

Ok...Ok....I know this does not mean they will necessarily get it in the next few days, but I want to think positive!! Now I really know we are going somewhere!

I wish a speedy process for everyone else. Keep the prayers and positive thoughts going. You will get through.

P.S. Sorry....I get very wordy.....something my fiance has pointed out a time or two....
