I can't believe people can generalize like this, I am not a member of any religion but still can't understand this islamophobia, what is the difference between anti-semitism and islamophobia? There are good people and bad people in every religion, every ideology. If you hate the whole group because of that, that's called Hasty Generalization in social psychology.

Yep, that is indeed well established in human history. But, why is it that some Islamists get so angry at people who they believe insult their religion that they actually kill them? I guess that is the one unique identifier we can associate with them.

People can be violent and at the same time a member of Islam just like they could be a member of any other religion. Like you said "SOME" Islamists, that could be "SOME" jews or "SOME" christians like Hitler and his followers.

Yes, but you see we are not talking about just any people here. The topic of this thread is about Muslims. I agree with liberal pundit Bill Maher that Muslims are the only religion in which radical elements brutally murder their own people, or outsiders for doing things they don't like. Where does one sign up to be a part of that?

Where does one sign up to be a part of that?

True to some extent but you can't put secular Islam and conservative (more like misused) Islam to the same place, (Iran, Saudi Arabia) and (Turkey, Bosnia) those are completely different countries with completely different perceptions the majority of people believe in Islam in all those countries.

Quite frankly, I don't carry God's judgement scale with me on a day to day basis. However, I do watch and read the news and see terrible reports that come from people who call themselves Muslims. When I worked with Muslims overseas, I would simply ask them if they were a good Muslim or a bad Muslim. Funny, but that question never got the same reply. Asking whether they liked America or not generally got the same answer. They all hated the government, but seemed to think that some of the people who live here may be okay. Damned if I could figure out just which ones were out there gunning to cut off the next American's head.

I am not a Muslim but have lots of friends who are Muslim and love America and work for America. That's your experience. Do all people in China like America?
