Tax related IR-1/CR-1 question

Been off of the forum for a while spending some well deserved holiday time with my wife But now that I'm back, I have a tax question.

Apologies if this has already been asked, but we're trying to sort out our taxes for 2010. For some background, my wife is the beneficiary and has not received her visa yet. She is still living in China but based on information that I have found here and other places, we are filing the 2010 taxes married jointly and I am filing the W-7 for her ITIN number at the same time. The question comes in how to report her foreign salary. I have copies of her employment contract that show her monthly salary so I can verify her income. Should this be reported as regular income? or self employment income? or some other form of income?

I know a Lotto and some others have done the W-7 route already but not sure if their spouse had any foreign income to report. Any insight from someone who has already done this would be greatly appreciated.

Also that site will prepare you for the specifics of the consulate. for Example the exclusive electronic process for CR-1/IR-1 visas at NVC. Knocks 2-3 months of the NVC-GUZ processing time.
