Hello,

I just want to confirm that a Police Criminal History Record Check Certificate is valid for 12 months from date of issue for the purpose of K-1 non-immigrant visa application? (Can't find any references - can anyone provide a link?)

Embassy/consul looks at them as valid for 1 year from the issuance date. Even if the certificate says its only valid for 6 months.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Australia sites not being helpful.

However here is what US Con Japan says.

For how long is a police certificate valid? Normally, validity is one year. The certificate must be valid on the day of your visa interview.
