Well finally some good news lol I am off to Atlanta on Wednesday to have my passport changed over to my married name. Filled out the form and new pics taken (eewww) and it's all free cause I am doing it within the 12 months of getting married. Got my change of name cert from OZ and a new BC (is pretty) Yay!!!! and I got a call this morning from the DMV and they told me I can go and get my license now as my residency is final. Hahahahaha but I have not heard a word from USCIS. MMMMM but hey as long as I can get my license now it's all good. They told me 1 month wait this time but it has only been 2 weeks. So tomorrow I will get my Georgia license woohoo annndddddd we have found ourselves a beautiful home and we are proceeding with that too here in Augusta. Brand new 4 bed 2 and 1/2 bath double garage and am just so happy about it all. I have never owned a new home before in my life. So 53 years later you're never too old for dreams to come true. I married the man of my dreams and he is making all mine come true.

So just some good news for the beginning of the week. :thumbs:(F):P:yes::):D

Isn't it awesome when it all starts coming together? I love curling up with hubby at night and feeling utterly content with my lot in life. Yeah, I have things that are annoying or cause for worry, but life's so much more fun when there's 2 of you tackling it :)

Im really happy for Yah Barbara....cheers to that big hunky bloke of yours too....

Im thinkin you should be cooking him a nice aussie roast lamb for dinner tonight....followed by a pav for dessert!!

LOL well I don't have room for a roast in my freezer but we will do soon and I will cook him that in our new home. Not sure about the Pav can't even get him to like Vegemite. :rofl: And thanks for the congrats and to Sundrop but still don't have that GC in hand yet so still some waiting to do. It's not over yet till the fat lady sings.:thumbs:
