Updating Penguin - I had my interview this morning and same day oath in the afternoon (Fairfax, VA office does this for VA residents). By a very fortunate stroke of luck this coincided with a brief visit from my parents from Australia so they were very proud to attend the ceremony with me. Now on to submitting the passport application tomorrow.

Hey i'm new to this site. And i want to ask those who have already been naturalized: What were the 10 questions they asked you during the civic test ? thanks..

They asked me only 6, as I got all the answers correct - you have to get 6 out of 10 correct. The questions are selected randomly from the 100 questions in this study pack:

Thanks. im in line for the testing. and im kinda nervous though i know the questions perfectly. but im afraid they will ask me the questions about my state , Florida like who is the state speaker , senator, governor.... ETC.... im so confused about them..

So i hope they are not going to ask me that .. lol :wacko::blink:
