Norway does not allow dual citizenship when a Norwegian citizen applies for another citizenship :( I think it's only allowed if, for example, a person acquires dual citizenship through birth (like in Llama's baby's case). Finland has only recognized dual citizenship for a few years as well..

I am about to head back to the US tomorrow. I will let you know how my entry goes! My GC has been issued while I was abroad, and I have my AP, a copy of my welcome letter and my GC (my husband who returned earlier scanned them for me), so let's see what happens at POE. I will keep you posted :)

So I got my card today!!! But the dates on it are wrong. The resident since date is months before I filed, and weeks before I even got married. And it expires in 2012. What now, call the IO or go for info pass?

MoveAndy congrats on your approval. And congtats to everyone else who got approved and good luck to all waiting.

vkn- thanks for starting this thread, it's been very very helpful and informative.

ha-ha I would love to apply earlier, but it says on the letter to make sure all the info is correct and if not to notify them. Plus the way the USCIS runs, next thing you know I would be in some sort of giant trouble cause I decided to apply for removal of conditions a year earlier than I should have.

I guess I am just tired so I didn't notice before, but my interview was 7/27/11 and the valid date is 7/27/10 ... Propably the IO enter the wrong year by mistake. I think I will call him directly. He was super nice, hopefuly he can order a replacement quickly. I don't want to complain too much, I know there are people still waiting for interviews, at least I already have an approval.
