Yea. I'm really hoping that most of my forms had the bar code thing on. I went back to the civil surgeons office and asked them to redo the form for me. They asked me for the original and I was like, "Erm its with USCIS" then they said it was my fault as I gave them the forms. I agreed with them and told them that it was their responsibility to make sure that the form that they were filling in was correct in the first place.

I have to go back on Wednesday to get the redone form so in the event that I do get a RFE then I have another copy just in case. :)

So are you saying your i-693 doesn't have a bar code or you are not sure? Anyways, my civil surgeon was kind enough to take the initiative at photocopying my i-693 before he handed it to me, since he said, should things get messed up by USCIS, at least he has a copy and he can always make me a new one based from the photocopy which he filed for himself, without fees.

and btw lol don't expect those people who work at the medical offices to be so competent, I doubt they'd know what USCIS is, when i went to this office in upper manhattan she asked me `what is this for` i was like for USCIS. she's like what? i go like `immigration` haha

Not to scare you too much, but I sent a card for Women's Day on Monday the 7th to Roza. I used my work address as the return address and addressed it to her and mailed it from the post office that serves our apartment. It has not arrived at the apartment nor has it been returned. This will be one of those seventy years from now story. NEVER NEVER trust the USPS to deliver sensitive material without paying for a tackable method.

At least I know mail is being delivered to Roza at the apartment as the NOA1 arrived on Monday--14 days after the check was cashed. Bio appointment is for the 31st of March. Things appear to be moving. Here's hoping for a speedy end to the AOS process and a two year break from all this paperwork.

Hope everybody hears good news soon.

Totally agree with you. I have had so much mail go missing with USPS here in NYC it boggles the mind.

I lost $200 on a GPS system that was "misdelivered" to someone sitting on the stoop next to my house, then when I went to file a claim the post office "lost" my form again and the claim timed up by the time I realized that nothing had moved with my case.

Congrats! Same here. We have identical timelines so far!! So far I am a fan of Chicago lockbox... Hope they keep it up!

Ok Im lost. Did you send your file to the Chicago lockbox or Vermont?

Filed AOS at Chicago with the rest of you. Filed a petition last year at Vermont for the I-129F petition. Sorry- I really need to update my timeline and signature!. And I know I'm in the wrong section, but there isn't any action in the family based March group, so I hope it's alright!
