Growing nervous. I wish I could get confirmation that USCIS has everything they need now that we replied to their RFE!

Sep 2009- Met at school

November 29 2009- Asked her to be exclusive

July 4 2010- Asked for her hand in marriage

Dec 23 2010- Got married!!!

Mar 10 2011- Filed AOS with USCIS

Mar 11 2011- USCIS received app

April 9 2011- Received NOA for all forms

April 29 2011- Biometrics appointment scheduled

April 19 2011- Successful walk in biometrics in Phoenix

May 15- Received a RFE birth certificate/financial docs

June 9- Sent RFE back

June 13- Received email stating RFE response review

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been on for a while.

I am writing this from my phone because I'm having some computer issues. I can't figure out how to change my sig on the mobile version of this site, so for now I'll post my timeline here:

02/16/2011 found out about potential problem with overstayers!

03/11/2011 mailed application

03/14/2011 application delivered

03/18/2011 texts/emails received

03/25/2011 NOA1 hard copies received

04/07/2011 biometrics letters received

05/02/2011 biometrics appointment

05/14/2011 EAD card production ordered

05/18/2011 EAD card received

06/15/2011 electronic notification of appointment

06/17/2011 appointment letter received. 

As you can see, we received our appointment letter yesterday.

This is important, because we are in NY, and I understand there have been some delays for NY applicants.

Unfortunately for most of you NY people, this is probably because we aren't in the city. We live on Long Island and our interview is in Holtsville.

We're now running around trying to get things like bank accounts and utility bills in both of our names, which we weren't able to do before because I didn't have an SSN.

We have a lot going on at the moment, but I'll try to stop by and keep everyone uodated with our progress and interview experience.

April 8, 2011- Plan for Early Walk-In, and inquiry about i-485 biometrics (SUCCESSFUL)

April 22- I-485 Touched, I-130 and I-765 (still initial review status)

April 23- Received Appointment Letter for Green Card Interview set on May 24, 2011 (Wish me Luck!!!)

May 12, 2011- Received EAD Card!!!

May 13, 2011- Will go get SSN

May 19, 2011- Got my SS Card in the Mail :)

May 24, 2011- Interview Date for Green Card (Successful!!! Card Production Ordered)

Waiting for the Green Card!!! :):):)

June 2, 2011- GREEN CARD IS HERE!!!

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME and ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!!!

2005: Met my wife online, "Habbo Hotel" instantly became friends.

2007: Lost contact with her, as we both lived thousands of miles away.

2010: Regained contact with her, again instantly became best friends.

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Next Stop Premed...Yup!

I broke the ethernet port on my laptop, so I can't go online properly until I manage to solder the microscopic wires :(

If I click 'full version', safari just crashes because of stupid ios4

i don't get that problem with my ipod touch..although i am not using it right now.. (talking about the crashing of this site when full version is clicked)

and btw, i just got my Welcome Letter today!! ^^ and I was scared a little bit that my name will be a little messed up! But they did it well!! There's no error...it means, my card got no errors!! Wee!! (It's because when the IO was correcting the last name (that I wanna go by which is my hubby's) he kind of made a little error -_- i was scared it cannot be read but yay!!!!!!
