Another New Yorker who filed mid February just got their interview notice for July 14, so maybe August for March filers?

That means things in new York are moving.

im really happy for all the newyorkers filets!!

Don't even remind me about the game my wife is a heat fan!! We were, it was romatic untill the lost......a little offtopic but her bday is next Friday, what I should get her we already went on a early vacation for her birthday, and im taking her to a spa; anyother ideas guys?

My interview is less than a week from now, and we're both excited and a little nervous. Should I make copies of everything or just the ones I submitted w/ my application and our new evidences? Thanks in advance.

03/08/2011 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox (PO Box address) thru USPS Priority Mail

03/09/2011 Found out this Visa Journey Community

03/10/2011 Package received at 6:48am

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/06/2011 Checks cashed

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)

04/15/2011 Successful Walk-in Biometrics (05/09/2011 is week of my birthday and we'll be out of town)

Got an email this morning saying that yesterday USCIS mailed us our date for our interview to be on July 20th...Ill let you know when the letter officially arrives!

05/25/08 - Met through friends

Uhhh.. Same here. A letter was mailed on June 14th, notifying us of an interview on July 20th. I am extremely surprised and was not expecting an interview anytime before August.. And now I have to choose from two options - flying back to the US from Finland with my husband for that interview appointment and then flying back to to Finland immediately after, since our wedding celebration is on July 30th, or taking the risk of attempting to reschedule.

Damn USCIS. The one time I needed them to work a bit slower, they actually decide to speed things along.
