Married since 03/02/2011, AOS from F-1 visa, green card granted 05/24/2011.
Blessed with a healthy baby boy, 08/19/2011! We get to keep our family together! Thank you! smile.png

Online update: inital review, the notice of action we sent to u was returend as undeliverable by us post authority. call uscis for rectification as this will affect the processing of your case.
called uscis: asking them to resend the notice of action and that i never change address.
Biomeric letter received: 05.02.2011 { for 05.17.2011}
walk in biomeric: 05.04.2011
another biometric letter received: 05.11.2011
went back for biometric centre: 05.12.2011 { was told that my last biometrics was good}
email and text massage recived: 05.14.2010{we have approved your EAC}
EAC received in the mail: 05.14.2011
applied for SSN. : 05.16.2011

I will definitely add you to my prayer list. Since this weekend is holiday, the post office is closed on Saturday and Monday. Try to enjoy the weekend. The interview notice came when I stopped checking the online status. Trust me it is coming soon.

02/14/2011 Valentine's Day wedding

03/08/2011 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox (PO Box address) thru USPS Priority Mail

03/09/2011 Found out this Visa Journey Community

03/10/2011 Package received at 6:48am

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/06/2011 Checks cashed

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)

04/15/2011 Successful Walk-in Biometrics (05/09/2011 is week of my birthday and we'll be out of town)

04/27/2011 E-notifications received(text and email) EAD Card production in order; Online status for I-765 updated 4/27/11

05/05/2011 Received EAD card

05/16/2011 Received Interview notice scheduled for 06/16/2011 (via e-notifications and USPS mail)

06/23/2011 Received Welcome letter, and approval of I-130

06/27/2011 Received GREEN CARD in the mail, it is indeed green!

someone said here post office isn't working on Saturday and Monday, wrong!

didn't check our box till today, but just went to smoke and came back, apparently there was a mail in there lol, a credit card bill that came in on Saturday, but tomorrow surely they will be on break

hope federal plaza allows us to pay expedite fees or something so we could be fast too.

Wow, I am so happy to see all the AOS approvals! What's even better is that all the experiences that have been posted have all be positive. Our interview is this Friday. I read where someone had difficulty getting their driver's license with the EAD...I am hoping we don't encounter that. I need to add hubby to my auto insurance policy since he uses the car for job interviews while I am at work. He has an international DL because his previous state DL expired and he couldn't renew it without EAD. My insurance guy said that adding someone with an international DL is much more expensive, whereas adding him with a state DL will be no additional cost. We'll be heading to the BMV tomorrow after I get off work.

We've gathered all the documents indicated on the back of the interview letter. We are ready and excited!

Oct. 2005- introduced by a mutual friend, hubby was living in Jamaica at the time, we become friends

Aug. 2007- hubby arrives to US on a J1 visa

May 2010- reconnected after losing touch for a few years, our relationship blossoms

Nov. 2010- hubby relocated to the Midwest so we can live together

Jan. 2011- I'm pregnant!

Feb. 2011- married on Valentine's Day!

3/14/11 Sent off I-485/I-130/I-765 to Chicago Lockbox

3/16/11 AOS package received

3/18/11 Text message notification that our package was received and I797 is coming in mail.

3/22/11 checks cashed

3/26/11 NOA1 hardcopy arrive for 1-485, I-130, I-765

3/31/11 biometrics letter arrives; appointment set for 4/25

4/7/11 biometrics walk-in; Indianapolis Field Office

5/12/11 EAD card arrived

6/3/11 Interview APPROVED!!!

6/16/11 Greencard arrived

Oct-Nov 2010- dating, fell in love

Nov. 23, 2010- B2 expired

January 11, 2011- married at Christian Church and living together

March 11, 2011- i-485, i-130 & i-765 filed via USPS(Day 1)

March 14, 2011- Packet received at Chicago Lockbox (Day 3)

March 17, 2011- Email Notifications received from USCIS of their receipt of the packet, and transferring to NBC. (Day 6)

March 17, 2011- Checks cashed by USCIS (Day 6)

March 21, 2011- Received NOA1 (Day 10)

April 4, 2011- Received Biometrics for i-765

April 8, 2011- Plan for Early Walk-In, and inquiry about i-485 biometrics (SUCCESSFUL)

April 22- I-485 Touched, I-130 and I-765 (still initial review status)

April 23- Received Appointment Letter for Green Card Interview set on May 24, 2011 (Wish me Luck!!!)

May 12, 2011- Received EAD Card!!!

May 13, 2011- Will go get SSN

May 19, 2011- Got my SS Card in the Mail :)

May 24, 2011- Interview Date for Green Card (Successful!!! Card Production Ordered)

June 2, 2011- GREEN CARD IS HERE!!!

I had my interview today, all went very well!!!!!!! :dance:

We were interviewed separately for a while and we answered everything the same way.....by the way our case was very different as my husband is 40 years older than me....love him to death! :dance:
