My very first california id card arrived today! Took 7 days, and i expected to get it in a month but here it is.

The exp date is 2016. I was expecting that they will give me the same exp date of my EAD card.. :D

SEP 07 2007 - Entered US w/ B2 Visa

NOV 29 2009 - Met my USC wife

OCT 14 2010 - Got married in San Diego

MAR 03 2011 - AOS package sent to USCIS

MAR 07 2011 - AOS package received by USCIS

MAR 29 2011 - Notice date for all forms

APR 01 2011 - NOA1 receipts arrived

APR 04 2011 - Biometrics appt letter arrived

APR 06 2011 - Biometrics walk-in successful

APR 29 2011 - Notice date for I-485 Initial Interview

MAY 04 2011 - Received Initial INTERVIEW LETTER!

MAY 13 2011 - Received EAD/AP card. Applied for SSN

MAY 19 2011 - Social Security card arrived

JUN 07 2011 - AOS INTERVIEW - Approved!!!!

JUN 10 2011 - Card production ordered!!

JUN 15 2011 - GREEN CARD Arrived!! :)

guys! i just had my interview this morning.my appointment was 10:30 but was called in around 10 and was finished around 10:30 i guess... i was approved! thanks God! the interview was okay. the io didnt ask for any evidence. didnt even check our marriage cert and the rest. he just checked our ids, sworn in and verified some info on the forms we submitted. he was very nice. he understands that the marriage is new and not much evidence yet. thanks God for assigning my case on that io.. :)

to all you guys just be prepared for everything, who knows right?.. we were just thankful that the io was considerate. :)

Hello guys.. My interview was at 1pm today.. AND IT WAS APPROVED!!! he just asked where did we meeet? and if i knew her family and that's it! the rest was just reviewing everything was correct in the application!! We are sooooooooo happy!!!

03/23/2011 - (Day 15) - NOA1 hard copies received via mail

03/30/2011 - (Day 18) -Biometric Appointment received (for I-765 and I-485, Original Date: 4/19/11)

04/04/2011 - (Day 23) - Walk-in Biometric Successful (for I-765 and I-485)

14/04/2011 - (Day 33) - Interview Letter arrived Date May 23 At 2pm.

14/05/2011 - (Day 66) - EAD ordered it said it was on May 11 now it says on the 16 weird.

19/05/2011 - (Day 71) - EAD Receieved in the mail

19/05/2011 - (Day 71) - Applied for Social Security number

23/05/2011 - (Day 74) - Interview day - APPROVED!!!!!!!

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Next Stop Premed...Yup!

congrats to all, actually two :) who got approved.

aaaaaah federal plaza what you doing? yea we got our EADs and even though having a green card wouldn't change anything in my life, it'd be good to have as fast as possible :) maybe I could fly to London, Knightsbridge... to get my money from Lloyd TSB :) hope that 600 pounds still there in my account....

still not a single new yorker received an interview

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/06/2011 Checks cashed

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)
