SS card arrived today! It took 6 days. Pretty fast. :)

Congrats friend! I'm still waiting for mine. I think what happened was their system was down when i went over there to apply for the number. They had to verify with the DHS thru mail. I called the local ofc and all they said there's nothing they can do right now, except to wait for the DHS's response. It may take up to 4 weeks :( It sucks, i want to apply for a DL. I guess I just have to wait.

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/06/2011 Checks cashed

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)

04/15/2011 Successful Walk-in Biometrics (05/09/2011 is week of my birthday and we'll be out of town)

04/27/2011 E-notifications received(text and email) EAD Card production in order; Online status for I-765 updated 4/27/11

05/05/2011 Received EAD card

05/06/2011 Applied for SSN

05/16/2011 Received Interview notice scheduled for 06/16/2011 (via e-notifications and USPS mail)

06/16/2011 Interview at San Jose,CA office, went well but no assurance from the IO

06/17/2011 Received e-notifications- I-485 approval and card production ordered :D

06/23/2011 Received Welcome letter, and approval of I-130

06/27/2011 Received GREEN CARD in the mail, it is indeed green!

05/10/2013 Sent in I-751 application to CSC PO box

05/13/2013 Package delivered at 11:28am

seeing you guys struggling to apply for SSN or DLs man, F1 student status really a shitty status but hey I applied to SSN the second week I've been here and got approved right away, and DL was really easy too, surely all of these was almost 9 years ago.

Congratulations Llama..I was thinking about you today and really hoping that you would get your interview fast.I totally feel you on the wanting to have your baby in Europe.

I also got my SSN card today. So that was four working days. Not too bad. Im really hoping that the interviews will be fast to come now!

my cousin is in student's visa, and she had no problem getting a DL..

compared to mine..i need MORE papers LOLOL -_- i'm contemplating

on going back there next week or just wait after the interview

I got a email saying that my interview is June 22....what papers and documents should we take to the interview?

We live with my wife mom,can she do a letter saying that we live there? And how can we do letters from friends and family.

also we had a lot pictures on our computer but I broke it according to my wife we have like around 400 we have like 2000 but I can't get it back. Help us please to be prepare

You have to wait for your hardcopy of the interview letter. It will state there what documents

you should bring along with you on the interview date. :) Usually what you must bring

are those supporting documents that you have submitted with the I485 application. Those and

more evidence that your marriage is bona fide :) photos, letters, etc.

Hope I'm of help.. :) (cause we got the hardcopy of the interview letter while our

online case status is still stuck at "Initial Review" status. )
