May 24, 2010- non USC arrived on B2

Sept. 2010- USC & non-USC introduced by a friend on FB

Oct. 10, 2010- USC & non-USC met

Oct-Nov 2010- dating, fell in love

Nov. 23, 2010- B2 expired

January 11, 2011- married at Christian Church and living together

March 11, 2011- i-485, i-130 & i-765 filed via USPS(Day 1)

March 14, 2011- Packet received at Chicago Lockbox (Day 3)

March 17, 2011- Email Notifications received from USCIS of their receipt of the packet, and transferring to NBC. (Day 6)

March 17, 2011- Checks cashed by USCIS (Day 6)

March 21, 2011- Received NOA1 (Day 10)

April 4, 2011- Received Biometrics for i-765

April 8, 2011- Plan for Early Walk-In, and inquiry about i-485 biometrics (SUCCESSFUL)

April 22- I-485 Touched, I-130 and I-765 (still initial review status)

April 23- Received Appointment Letter for Green Card Interview set on May 24, 2011 (Wish me Luck!!!)

May 12, 2011- Received EAD Card!!!

May 13, 2011- Will go get SSN

May 19, 2011- Got my SS Card in the Mail :)

May 24, 2011- Interview Date for Green Card (Successful!!! Card Production Ordered)

Waiting for the Green Card!!! :):):)

June 2, 2011- GREEN CARD IS HERE!!!

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME and ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!!!

Got my EAD as well. It actually arrived yesterday, and the "valid from" date is 05/02. One step done - now it's just waiting for the interview letter. I don't actually even care that much when the interview it is (though the sooner the better of course) but I'd really like to know the date as soon as possible to be able to plan around that.. But I have a feeling us New Yorkers are gonna be waiting for a while for those letters.

Oh and also, same thing for me - not update on website, no email, status still "initial review".

Congrats on all the EADs and interviews for those who have received them!

so it's the same thing for you huh cool, mine too was issued on the 5/2/11 and valid thru 5/1/12. and yes same for the notifications, nothing no text/email or anything, online status says initial review

anywho this is all nice, they can send me the interview whenever they have time lol

I knew it! I got my EAD card today! :wow::dance: I must be some kind of a psychic! or just too much thinking of it that it finally happened! kidding aside, so what do I need to bring to get an SSN? And, can I go to any SS office? Like any SS office near our residence, or does it have to be in SF? :help:

3/15/11 AOS package received w/ signature

3/18/11 Checks cashed. Received text/email notices. Package sent to NBC.

3/19/11 All apps touched.

3/23/11 Received i797C Notices for all apps. RD: 3/15/11 PD: 3/17/11

3/26/11 Biometrics appt notice received for i765 for 4/20/11

3/29/11 Biometrics appt notice received for i485 for 4/21/11

4/20/11 Biometrics completed at Brooklyn office on 60th St for i765/i485

5/5/11 EAD (i765) APPROVED!!! No text, email, or website updates.

5/13/11 Received EAD in the mail. Applied for SSN.

5/19/11 Received SS card in the mail. Good work SSA!

5/23/11 Mailed change of address forms: NY to NJ.

For all my fellow New Yorkers, I have just received the EAD card, issued on 5/2/11, received it today. It was approved in 54 days and received in exactly 2 months, 60 days.

Now, I am not too concerned about interview paper, but surely I want it as fast as possible

Yay you! Congrats. Im really happy for you! Now I hope that my own prediction does not come true (June the earliest). Saved from being a house husband eh?

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Congrats on more EADs! :D

I think I was the only one who didn't apply for an EAD, lol.

Married since 03/02/2011, AOS from F-1 visa, green card granted 05/24/2011.
Blessed with a healthy baby boy, 08/19/2011! We get to keep our family together! Thank you! smile.png

*cough* Got mine too.

I know most are happy because they can work but Im happy because this means that I can get a driving license!

@VKN--So it seems as if going in for your biometrics early really didnt do a whole lot of difference albeit a few days. Mine is dated 5/5/2011.
