For all my fellow New Yorkers, I have just received the EAD card, issued on 5/2/11, received it today. It was approved in 54 days and received in exactly 2 months, 60 days.

Now, I am not too concerned about interview paper, but surely I want it as fast as possible

you shouldn't bother too much with your EAD any more because your interview approval is more than

anything right now :D

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)

yeah i'm almost a feb filer because i filed at the end of january :)

it actually took me 4 months (barely 4 months)

and i just checked my online case status and it's still on initial review.. and there are no touched whatsoever

maybe what i see here on other threads is right.. the uscis website isn't that reliable..still the best to

check the mailbox :D im happy/nervous LOL

I just want to pop in to let you guys know that EADs are processed at National Benefits Center in Missouri - so your state has nothing to do with that at all. The interview letter is the only thing dependent on your local office's availability.

8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

My AP came today!! :D One step closer to being able to go home to give birth and not end up with a huge hospital bill! :D

There's two identical documents... Does that mean I can travel twice? o.O (I only ask because a family member recently fell ill and the prospect of a funeral being a possibility within the next two weeks is not unthinkable.)

EDIT: On the USCIS website, my I-131 case status is still listed as "Initial Review" with last update 3/19. :)
