Yea same office in sansome st, sf.. I am worried because the appointment is at 8:25AM. Hella early!! I think its the first interview appointment of the day. I hope we dont get a grumpy IO who didnt have any breakfast yet lol

My friend who had her interview last April 26 was also in SF. They had an Asian IO and said it was like talking to an uncle. Her husband made a mistake with the first question but it still went well. She said the other IO were very intimidating. Goodluck to us!

I dont see how that will be a big deal. I married my husband religiously about a month after meeting him. Its just the way we did things. The Immigration Officers understand quick courtships.

On a side note, yesterday I was at the ER (long story) and there were two Customs and Border patrol officers escorting a woman who had been acting up on the plane. I was thinking to myself, little does he know that I am here out of status (lol). We had a nice conversation too!

Grats on more interviews! :D Seems the west coast is moving particularly fast!

I have a question - when you get an RFE does the whole package get sent to a different office who will review the RFE? Or does it stay in the same "line," just waiting for the evidence?

Like, let's say I was the 100th application in line, then get the RFE, would they ship everything over to a place where I might be 10000th in line, then my package has to go through that line to approve the evidence, then I get sent back to the first line?

Or, to rephrase, it took two weeks from RFE was issued until the website said they'd received my evidence. Will this delay my application more than those two weeks?

Generally your place in line is held, so just 2 weeks lost. I suspect with your file it might take them a while to review it with the complications of birth record. Maybe that will make your interview later and you can show up to it with your baby :)

Nothing for PA either. :P

Let's hope so! I found the birth certificate, though, both in Korean and English, as well as all my adoption papers. Not sure why that would be complicated. :(

I'm mostly worried that they'll schedule the interview for when I need to be in Norway to give birth, or even worse - send the interview letter out when we're in Norway! I read the USPS won't forward mail from the USCIS, and we don't have anyone who can check the mail for us!
