yea it's really great, most of us from NYC area, it'll be really nice for timelining, who knows we might be interviewed one after another in the same office

vkn & jsb, the express mail and courier address is actually USCIS, FBAS, 131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor, Chicago, IL 60603-5517.. the PO Box is for regular US postal service. I know UPS and FedEx won't deliver to a PO Box, but not quite sure about USPS Express mail. If you went to a postal office to mail it and they said it was fine with a PO Box, then I'm sure there is no problem with it! They wouldn't have taken it with a PO box address if they weren't going to deliver it there.

omg now, Scheiße! , now i am freaking out about this hopefully it won't bounce back and i lose around 3 weeks processing time

i sent it out from the 34th street main usps office (you know the one that is open 24/7), using USPS express mail, next day delivery by friday morning, i guess I will know it by tomorrow....

i know others like ups/fedex/dhl won't deliver to po boxes, as it's only for usps, so i think it should be fine but..... this wording is just annoying me a bit `Express Mail`.. how about USPS Express Mail?? or do they just mean fedex/ups/dhl when they say Express mail

i suppose you are right, they wouldn't take it but omg what a stress, tomorrow come already

You can breathe again. I just checked the US Postal website, and USPS express delivers to P.O. boxes as well. No need to worry. Like I said, they would not have taken it from you with a PO box address on it, if they weren't gonna deliver it to a PO Box. they would have told you that it can't be a PO box address.. You're fine. No time lost.

hello!! i was worried about that when i mailed my aos packet. i sent it in P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4120. when i was tracking it online its says "Notice Left (No Authorized Recipient Available), March 03, 2011, 10:33 am, CHICAGO, IL 60680" so i called usps.. they said the PO box address is located inside the USPS office.. the package is there but no one just signed to received it. then after 2 hours i checked again "Delivered, March 03, 2011, 2:01 pm, CHICAGO, IL 60680" "Your item was delivered at 2:01 pm on March 03, 2011 in CHICAGO, IL 60680 to INS 805887 . The item was signed for by R MERCADO. "

So yea.. its ok to send it the PO box address.. INS is renting the PO box inside USPS and i guess someone picks up all the mail.

Ok, count us in!

Mrs. Doctorbeat and I mailed our application yesterday, estimated delivery monday.

Yah

So glad. I really hope that Im just second guessing myself and the application were on bar coded paper. I wanna be in March 2011 not April! (lol).

I think I remember printing off all the forms again on Monday after realizing that chrome didnt have bar codes but Im not sure because I didnt photocopy the completed forms. I just put a dummy packet aside using the duplicate forms that I printed off in the first place. I know that the I-693 definetly didnt have bar codes on and there was an inane error on the I-864. My country of origin was put as USA rather than UK but I would rather a RFE for the I-864 and I-693 than the whole thing returned as I know the I-130 was good.

Ok I am sure I will try everyone around the bend before I know one way or another so apologies in anticipation. :P

country as origin in USA aaah what a bummer, well i checked every single thing twice then my wife checked things once to make sure all is good, but still you never know though i saw people still makes mistakes after checking tons of times.

anywho so in this case, your application to be in this `March 2011 filers` forum can be rejected hah, we'll will move you to April 2011 filers

it's weird that after you said about barcodes, i can't even open those pdfs from uscis's web site on chrome (i'm on win7 and latest chrome), it says contents can be viewed or something

Yup thats the original error that I got with chrome and then when it did work, lo and behold no barcodes.

All I can do is wait and see. I figure by the 21st I should know one way or another.

And even if I end up in April, I will lurk here, you can bet your bottom dollar!
