What about walk in biometrics? I have an appointment for next month but we want to do a walk in are they strict about it

3/12/2011 we sent aos package

3/14/2011 package delivered

4/15/11 received noa1 aos,aed & por

4/23/11 received Biometrics appt for 5/11

4/28/11 successful walk in Biometrics

5/13/11 EAD arrive

5/16/11 APPLY FOR SSN

5/18/11 GOT PRINTOUT OF SSN

5/19/11 GOT MY FL DL WIFE IS SUPER HAPPY SHE DOESNT HAVE TO DRIVE ANYMORE.

fill in your profile, i am not sure where you living in but they usually are not, you can always try to walk in, whether it will speed it up or not it all depends and noone knows...

Do the Walkin You will never know if it is going to be a good thing or not until you try it.. I did mine and 2 weeks later got my interview letter :).

03/08/2011 - (Day 01) - AOs Package Delivered

03/20/2011 - (Day 12) - NOA1 received via SMS & Email

03/23/2011 - (Day 15) - Checks cashed $1490, all Is Touched

03/23/2011 - (Day 15) - NOA1 hard copies received via mail

03/30/2011 - (Day 18) -Biometric Appointment received (for I-765 and I-485, Original Date: 4/19/11)

04/04/2011 - (Day 23) - Walk-in Biometric Successful (for I-765 and I-485)

14/04/2011 - (Day 33) - Interview Letter arrived Date May 23 At 2pm.

14/05/2011 - (Day 66) - EAD ordered it said it was on May 11 now it says on the 16 weird.

19/05/2011 - (Day 71) - EAD Receieved in the mail

19/05/2011 - (Day 71) - Applied for Social Security number

23/05/2011 - (Day 74) - Interview day - APPROVED!!!!!!!

I see that you were from H1B which means, a working visa... don't they take biometrics for

working visas before? (i have no idea... just asking XD) i got my biometrics appointment letter

2 weeks after they have received my Applications. :)

But hopefully someone will ease your mind by saying they are on the same page as you ^^

The only finger printing I did when I got the H1-B visa. But that was years ago. I don't think it counts as the biometrics information needed in this case. Nice thought though. :)

Saw another poster who is still waiting and has been over 30 days too. So I'm just going to keep on waiting I suppose.

It's nice to see other people progressing though. Shows that the work is being done.

you guys are amazing you two got the interview but still hoping for sucky EAD, hell with that guys, we waited this long, we can wait another month for the real deal, the real card... aaah c'mon lol

if set, i personally can wait another month for the interview date, hell with the EAD...

your EAD's will come soon, i can feel it :) although mine took 2 months (from the day they have received my apps) there might be some speed up in their processing xD

but mhaye and rfranzz are just lucky to get interview letters ..because i'd rather get that than getting my EAD.. xD

same here i couldn't care less for an EAD if and only if of course if the interview will come in a month, if more than a month away then i guess ead would be good.

I am going to school but it's almost over, mid-may or something i thin, then I will home 24/7, a house-man lol

Ok i tried doing my timeline. Let's see if it works :) Well I know My interview is in a month so if i get the EAD a little bit before the interview at least i know after the 23 everything will be better :)
