Congratz! everybody's case going smoothly. NBC is the main HUB in Missouri. they distribute the cases to other service centers i think. once they are `ready for interview`. they send those cases to the local offices, in my case that'd be federal plaza ;)

by the way anybody knows what's ` Case is touched` means? like how do you know case is touched?

"Case touched" means that someone at NBC has scanned the barcode attached to your petition, which will change the "last updated" date in your USCIS profile (assuming you have created an account on uscis.gov). It doesn't necessarily mean that anything has happened with your case (i.e. someone could have just moved it from place A to place B and scanned the bar code without ever even opening your actual file), but it can also mean that someone actually reviewed your papers.

Thats great. Yes, now you wait for Email and Text notifications for each forms you filled out in the package where you had attached the G-1145 forms.

Shortly after (typically a day) your checks should be cashed.

Can everyone who have gotten their notifications able to view case statuses on USCIS website ? I am still not able to.

I know right, this country America is alright, land of opportunity but you gotta create your opportunity yourself, what i am trying to say is, there are bad things and good things about capitalism.

back where we some of us come from; in Europe, we have socialism, where government pays for everything, education and health care is just some of those things that the government provide for free or for a very little money....

By the way, I think you can give birth for free in US too, just need to have medicaid or something, you should look into it. also when you give birth he'll/she'll be us citizen automatically , so you won't have to file with USCIS for him/her too :)

Step 2

I am wondering which one of us will receive their biometric letter first...

She wont be able to get medicaid without becoming a public charge which is a no no when adjusting status and for 10 years if you remain a LPR or 3 if you become a USC>

She wont have to file for her baby. She will go to the US embassy in her home country and get a consulate report of birth abroad and a us passport. The baby wont be a naturalised citizen. The baby will be a citizen from birth.

USCIS dont have anything to do with this. Citizen matters are the State departments place for born citizens,

oh no I know we all can't get medicaid that's the reason why USCIS forcing us to get a sponsorship (I-864), I meant since she is married, her USC husband could, but surely, if he makes enough money he won't be qualified for it too, then you gotta pay.
