yea i didn't think they'd work but tried and all did, i guess it's a matter of when they enter them to the system.

but also it doesn't make sense coz if these numbers are generated (surely using a computer system) they should already be in the system, coz they are generated. but I read stuff like this before, some guy said none of the numbers work for the entire process for their application for example

Just after I sent my previous post! I have received 3 emails and 3 text messages

Dear Applicant/Petitioner: Your USCIS application/petition has been received and routed to the National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXXX. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your application using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your application/petition. This notice does grant immigration status or benefit. You MAY present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does constitute evidence that your application remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your application/petition must also be verified with USCIS.

I already had an account on USCIS, just added these 3 receipts and all worked. I have 3 files on `My Portfolio` page now. Right now all says `Initial Review`.

Anyone? WILL I receive double emails and double text messages if I enable the `Email Alert` and `Mobile Alert` on this `My Portfolio` page. Coz I also submitted G1145 form ?

Me too! What's ironic is all day I was checking my email and texts. When I actually just forgot about it...I saw all the texts and emails sitting in my inbox.

Hi. So, if NOA1 is all about informing us that our package has been received, etc. What does NOA2 indicate? Where is the information stating that your check has been encashed specified? Also, is there a NOA3, and so on? Thanks!

there won't be any info by USCIS that your checks has been cashed, you just check your online bank statement. (I've been checking mine, nothing has cashed yet)

i am not sure what NOA2 states though yea anyone?

no there's no such thing NOA3 i think, shortly after NOA2 you supposed to receive interview document.

Update guys: My Checks for I-485 including Biometrics fee and I-130 were cashed earlier in the afternoon.

We tracked our package to the Chicago Lockbox and it reached early this morning. Hopefully our checks will be cashed and we'll receive NOA1 in about a week

god it's 5 in the morning, still studying for the midterm next week.

Just checked the bank account, they cashed the $1490 ouch

and the wait begins for the Biometric appointment

so if you guys take a look at December and January filers, you will see

January filers almost all of them received their EADs and

december filers almost all of them received their interview letter for sometime in april

so then we should receive our letters in june for july hmm...
